Role Description This full-time, on-site Radiology Technician role is based in the Riyadh Region. The Radiology Technician is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays and other radiologic examinations in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols. Daily tasks include preparing and positioning patients, operating radiologic equipment, ensuring radiation safety standards are followed, and maintaining accurate imaging records. The role involves collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnoses and timely patient care. The Radiology Technician also helps maintain equipment, follows infection control procedures, and provides clear instructions and reassurance to patients throughout their examinations.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Radiologic Technology and Radiology, with the ability to perform a range of diagnostic imaging procedures safely and accurately.
- Knowledge and application of Radiation Safety principles to protect patients, colleagues, and self during all imaging activities.
- Credentials such as American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent, and familiarity with relevant Medicine and clinical practices.
- Diploma or degree in Radiologic Technology or related field, with current professional licensure/registration as required by local regulations.
- Experience using modern imaging equipment, PACS/RIS systems, and adhering to quality assurance and infection control standards.
- Effective communication skills, ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, and a patient-centered approach with attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Willingness to work on-site in the Riyadh Region and participate in shift-based schedules, including evenings or weekends as needed.
