Job Summary
Euro Group Engineering Consultancy is seeking an Environmental Engineer to support environmental management, remediation and rehabilitation activities for coastal and on shore projects. The role will execute engineering and environmental tasks, support field investigations and remedial implementation, analyze data and produce technical deliverables to ensure regulatory and HSSE compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute engineering and environmental tasks for site assessments, remediation design support and rehabilitation works.
- Plan and carry out fieldwork: sample collection, site inspections, monitoring and data logging.
- Support preparation of technical reports, method statements, SOPs, and deliverables (technical memoranda, progress reports).
- Collect, validate and analyze environmental data; prepare tables, charts and technical interpretations.
- Support development of remediation approaches and BOQs, and assist field teams and subcontractors during implementation.
- Ensure environmental compliance on site and adherence to HSSE procedures and permit conditions.
- Contribute to development and application of QA/QC, sampling and laboratory chain‑of‑custody procedures.
- Liaise with clients, laboratories, subconsultants and regulatory stakeholders as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Environmental, Civil, or related) or Construction Management. Bachelor’s preferred; advanced degree advantageous.
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in environmental management, civil engineering related to remediation, or environmental remediation projects.
Technical Skills
- Environmental engineering fundamentals and practical experience in remediation/rehabilitation support.
- Fieldwork capabilities: sampling, use of field instruments, GPS/dGPS.
- Data collection, validation and basic statistical/analytical skills.
- Technical report writing and documentation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); GIS and data analysis tools desirable.
- Familiarity with environmental permitting, HSSE requirements and QA/QC procedures.

- Detail‑oriented, organized and able to work both independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills; able to coordinate with field crews and client representatives.
- Willingness to travel to project sites and work in coastal/field conditions.
