المهام والمسؤوليات

  • دعم تطوير وتنفيذ استراتيجية وأهداف الاستدامة للمشروع.
  • مراجعة تصاميم المشاريع وخطط الإنشاء والعمليات التشغيلية لتحديد فرص تحسين الاستدامة.
  • المساعدة في دمج اعتبارات الاستدامة في عملية اتخاذ القرارات والتخطيط لدورة حياة المشروع.
  • مراقبة الامتثال للوائح البيئية المحلية والوطنية والدولية ومعايير الاستدامة.
  • إجراء تقييمات الأثر البيئي ومراجعات الحوكمة والتفتيش الموقعي.
  • دعم إعداد التقارير والتصاريح والطلبات المطلوبة للموافقات التنظيمية.
  • تعزيز ممارسات البناء المستدامة، بما في ذلك كفاءة الطاقة والحفاظ على المياه وتقليل النفايات.
  • دعم دمج الطاقة المتجددة والمواد منخفضة الكربون والتقنيات الموفرة للموارد.
  • التنسيق مع فرق التصميم والإنشاء لضمان التوافق مع أهداف الاستدامة.
  • التعاون مع فرق المشروع الداخلية والمقاولين والاستشاريين والجهات التنظيمية في مبادرات الاستدامة.
  • إعداد تقارير الاستدامة ولوحات المعلومات والعروض التقديمية للإدارة وأصحاب المصلحة.
  • تتبع وإبلاغ مؤشرات الأداء الرئيسية للاستدامة، بما في ذلك البصمة الكربونية وتحويل النفايات وتوفير الطاقة/المياه.
  • دعم برامج التوعية بالاستدامة وورش العمل والدورات التدريبية لموظفي المشروع والمقاولين.
  • تعزيز تبني ممارسات وثقافة الاستدامة عبر فرق المشروع.
  • تحديد والتوصية بحلول ومواد وتقنيات مبتكرة للاستدامة.
  • دعم تنفيذ مبادرات الاستدامة وفق أفضل الممارسات الدولية (LEED، BREEAM، ISO 14001، أو ما يعادلها).
  • مراقبة اتجاهات الصناعة واللوائح الناشئة للاستدامة لضمان الامتثال والقيادة في المشروع.

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • درجة البكالوريوس في العلوم البيئية أو الاستدامة أو الهندسة المدنية/البيئية أو تخصص ذي صلة.
  • درجة الماجستير أو شهادة مهنية ذات صلة (ميزة إضافية).
  • خبرة لا تقل عن 5 سنوات في إدارة الاستدامة أو الامتثال البيئي أو مشاريع البنية التحتية المستدامة.
  • خبرة في مشاريع البنية التحتية الكبيرة أو المطارات أو الإنشاءات (مرغوب بشدة).
  • المام بالمعايير الدولية للاستدامة (LEED، BREEAM، ISO 14001، GRESB أو ما يعادلها).
  • فهم قوي لمبادئ الاستدامة واللوائح البيئية وممارسات كفاءة الموارد.
  • خبرة في إجراء التقييمات البيئية والمراجعات وفحوص الامتثال.

المهارات المطلوبة

  • مهارات تحليلية وحل مشكلات وإعداد تقارير ممتازة.
  • قدرات تواصل قوية، وإشراك أصحاب المصلحة، والعمل الجماعي.
  • إتقان استخدام أدوات تقييم الاستدامة وبرامج إعداد التقارير وحزمة Microsoft Office.
  • شهادة مهنية في الاستدامة أو الإدارة البيئية (LEED AP، BREEAM Assessor أو ما يعادلها) - مرغوب.
  • معرفة بعمليات المطارات ومتطلبات استدامة الطيران - مرغوب.

Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Sustainability Specialist - Saudi National to join our team!

What You'll Be Doing

  • Support the development and implementation of the project’s sustainability strategy and targets.
  • Review project designs, construction plans, and operational processes to identify opportunities for sustainability improvements.
  • Assist in integrating sustainability considerations into project decision-making and lifecycle planning.
  • Monitor compliance with local, national, and international environmental regulations and sustainability standards.
  • Conduct environmental impact assessments, audits, and site inspections.
  • Support the preparation of reports, permits, and submissions required for regulatory approvals.
  • Promote sustainable construction practices, including energy efficiency, water conservation, and waste reduction.
  • Support the integration of renewable energy, low-carbon materials, and resource-efficient technologies.
  • Coordinate with design and construction teams to ensure alignment with sustainability goals.
  • Collaborate with internal project teams, contractors, consultants, and regulatory authorities on sustainability initiatives.
  • Prepare sustainability reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and stakeholders.
  • Track and report sustainability KPIs, including carbon footprint, waste diversion, and energy/water savings.
  • Support sustainability awareness programs, workshops, and training sessions for project staff and contractors.
  • Promote adoption of sustainable practices and culture across project teams.
  • Identify and recommend innovative sustainability solutions, materials, or technologies.
  • Support implementation of sustainability-related initiatives in line with international best practices (LEED, BREEAM, ISO 14001, or equivalent).
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging sustainability regulations to ensure project compliance and leadership.


What Required Skills You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Civil/Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Master’s Degree or relevant professional certification is an advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sustainability management, environmental compliance, or sustainable infrastructure projects.
  • Experience on large-scale infrastructure, airport, or construction projects is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with international sustainability standards (LEED, BREEAM, ISO 14001, GRESB, or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of sustainability principles, environmental regulations, and resource efficiency practices.
  • Experience conducting environmental assessments, audits, and compliance reviews.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficient in sustainability assessment tools, reporting software, and Microsoft Office suite.


What Desired Skills You'll Bring

  • Professional certification in sustainability or environmental management (LEED AP, BREEAM Assessor, or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of airport operations and aviation sustainability requirements.
  • Experience implementing carbon reduction, waste management, or renewable energy initiatives.
  • Ability to influence project teams and foster a culture of sustainability.
