شركة WSP في الشرق الأوسط تبحث عن مترجم تقني للانضمام إلى فريقها في جدة.

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • ترجمة المستندات الفنية والهندسية والتعاقدية والمتعلقة بالمشاريع بين اللغتين العربية والإنجليزية.
  • مراجعة وتدقيق المواد المترجمة لضمان الدقة والاتساق والامتثال لمصطلحات المشروع.
  • ترجمة التقارير والمواصفات والمراسلات ومحاضر الاجتماعات والعروض التقديمية والسياسات والإجراءات.
  • دعم فرق المشروع من خلال الترجمة الفورية والمساعدة اللغوية أثناء الاجتماعات وورش العمل عند الحاجة.
  • الحفاظ على اتساق المصطلحات الفنية عبر جميع وثائق المشروع.
  • التنسيق مع المهندسين ومديري المشاريع والمتخصصين الفنيين لضمان نقل المفاهيم التقنية بدقة في الترجمات.
  • ضمان السرية والتعامل السليم مع معلومات المشروع الحساسة.
  • المساعدة في إعداد الاتصالات ثنائية اللغة للعملاء وأصحاب المصلحة والجهات الحكومية.
  • تطوير وصيانة قوائم المصطلحات وقواعد بيانات المصطلحات الترجمة.
  • دعم فرق مراقبة الوثائق وإدارة المشاريع حسب الحاجة.

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • درجة البكالوريوس في الترجمة أو اللغات أو اللغويات أو أي تخصص ذي صلة.
  • خبرة مهنية لا تقل عن 5-8 سنوات في الترجمة.
  • إتقان اللغة العربية بمستوى اللغة الأم ومهارات ممتازة في اللغة الإنجليزية (كتابة وتحدثًا).
  • خبرة مثبتة في ترجمة الوثائق الفنية والهندسية.
  • خبرة سابقة في بيئات الاستشارات الهندسية أو البناء أو البنية التحتية أو إدارة المشاريع.
  • فهم قوي للمصطلحات الفنية المتعلقة بمشاريع البنية التحتية والنقل والمرافق والبناء.
  • إتقان استخدام تطبيقات Microsoft Office وأدوات الترجمة.
  • اهتمام ممتاز بالتفاصيل ومهارات تنظيمية.
  • القدرة على إدارة مهام متعددة والعمل تحت مواعيد تسليم ضيقة.
  • يفضل وجود خبرة في دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي.

Job Description

WSP is seeking a highly skilled Technical Translator to join our team in Jeddah. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accurate and high-quality Arabic-English translation services for technical, engineering, infrastructure, and project-related documentation. The role requires excellent linguistic skills, attention to detail, and experience supporting large-scale engineering and construction projects within a consultancy environment.

Responsibilities

  • Translate technical, engineering, contractual, and project-related documents between Arabic and English.
  • Review and proofread translated materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project terminology.
  • Translate reports, specifications, correspondence, meeting minutes, presentations, policies, and procedures.
  • Support project teams with interpretation and language assistance during meetings and workshops when required.
  • Maintain consistency in technical terminology across all project documentation.
  • Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and technical specialists to ensure translations accurately convey technical concepts.
  • Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive project information.
  • Assist in preparing bilingual communications for clients, stakeholders, and government authorities.
  • Develop and maintain translation glossaries and terminology databases.
  • Support document control and project administration teams as required.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Translation, Languages, Linguistics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of professional translation experience.
  • Native-level Arabic proficiency and excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven experience translating technical and engineering documentation.
  • Previous experience within engineering consultancy, construction, infrastructure, or project management environments.
  • Strong understanding of technical terminology related to infrastructure, transportation, utilities, and construction projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and translation tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and work under tight deadlines.
  • GCC experience is preferred.
