تعلن شركة International Maritime Industries عن توفر وظيفة مفتش أول لمراقبة جودة اللحام (Inspector I, Welding QC) في الشرقية، رأس الخير، السعودية.

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • التنسيق مع فريق T&D والإشراف على تأهيل عمال اللحام والإجراءات وفقًا لـ WPS المعتمدة والإجراءات المقررة.
  • التحقق من هوية عامل اللحام وتأكيد جدولته لاختبار التأهيل الصحيح.
  • التأكد من أن تصميم الوصلة والأبعاد وعينات الاختبار معدة وفقًا للكود (ASME, AWS, ISO، إلخ).
  • توثيق التيار والجهد وسرعة التحرير ودرجات الحرارة (preheat, inter-pass). الإبلاغ عن أي انحراف أو مشكلة فورًا لاتخاذ إجراء تصحيحي.
  • فحص مظهر اللحام بحثًا عن عيوب (شقوق، مسامية، نقص الاختراق، عدم الانصهار).
  • ترتيب اختبارات التدمير (bend, tensile, impact) أو الاختبارات غير الإتلافية (RT, UT, MT, PT) وفقًا لمتطلبات الكود.
  • المساعدة في تجميع PQR بجميع المتغيرات الأساسية ونتائج الاختبارات والملاحظات. توفير بيانات التفتيش لمساعدة مهندس اللحام في إنهاء أو مراجعة WPS.
  • ضمان حفظ شهادات تأهيل عمال اللحام وPQRs بشكل مناسب وإمكانية تتبعها إلى عينات الاختبار.

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • المؤهل العلمي: دبلوم في الميكانيكا أو ما يعادله.
  • الشهادات المهنية: مؤهل مهني ساري المفعول في تفتيش اللحام (CSWIP 3.2/AWS-SCWI أو ما يعادله)، وشهادة مدقق أو مدقق رئيسي في ISO 9001:2015.
  • الخبرة: خبرة لا تقل عن 6-9 سنوات في مجال تأهيل عمال اللحام / تأهيل الإجراءات في صناعات الهندسة البحرية (هياكل الجاكيت، السفن، منصات الحفر).

Description

JOB PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE

Conduct inspections for qualifications of welders and welding operators, witness welding activities. Monitor and document welder qualification and Procedure Qualification Record (PQR) processes. Provide technical support to the project team to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Key Accountabilities

  • Coordinate with T&D team and witness welder and procedure qualifications in compliance with approved WPS and established procedures.
  • Verify welder’s identity and that they are scheduled for the correct qualification test.
  • Ensure joint design, dimensions, and test coupons are prepared according to code (ASME, AWS, ISO, etc.).
  • Document current, voltage, travel speed, preheat, and inter-pass temperatures. Report deviations or issues immediately for corrective action.
  • Check weld appearance for defects (cracks, porosity, undercut, incomplete fusion).
  • Arrange destructive tests (bend, tensile, impact) or NDT (RT, UT, MT, PT) as required by code.
  • Assist in compiling the PQR with all essential variables, test results, and observations. Provide inspection data to help the welding engineer finalize or revise WPS.
  • Ensure welder qualification certificates and PQRs are properly filed and traceable to test coupons.


Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Education

  • Diploma in Mechanical or equivalent.


Professional Qualifications (Certifications & Accreditations)

Valid professional qualification in the following:

  • Welding Inspection (CSWIP 3.2/AWS-SCWI or equivalent schemes).
  • ISO 9001:2015 auditor or lead auditor certification.


Experience

  • Minimum of 6 - 9 years’ experience, relating to Welder qualification/Procedure qualification of marine engineering industries (Jacket structure, ship & rig - buildings)
