تعلن شركة Tuwaiq Casting & Forging (طويق للصب والطرق) عن توفر وظيفة مهندس سلامة العمليات (Process Safety Engineer) للعمل في المنطقة الشرقية، رأس الخير، السعودية، ضمن قسم البيئة والصحة والسلامة والأمن (EHS)، وتحت إشراف مدير EHSS.

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • مراجعة وتقديم الملاحظات على تطوير معايير الشركة الداعمة لعناصر إدارة سلامة العمليات (PSM).
  • تطوير إجراءات TIMS الموكلة لدور مهندس سلامة العمليات.
  • التنسيق مع قسم الصحة والسلامة والبيئة لتعزيز الجودة والامتثال وضمان بيئة عمل آمنة وتقليل حوادث سلامة العمليات.
  • المشاركة في أنشطة تحليل مخاطر العمليات (PHA) لضمان الامتثال لمتطلبات سلامة العمليات، بما في ذلك ضمانات العمليات.
  • متابعة التوصيات الناتجة عن PHAs الدورية وإدارة المراجعة الخمسية وفقاً لإجراءات الشركة.
  • مراقبة التقدم عبر الإشراف على الميزانية والتنسيق مع المشتريات والعقود.

  • معالجة الانحرافات عبر تحليل السبب الجذري لتحديد طرق محسنة ومنع التكرار.
  • التنسيق مع وظيفة التدريب لضمان تقديم تدريب عناصر سلامة العمليات لجميع رؤساء الأقسام والمهندسين وموظفي الإنتاج وفقاً لخطة تدريب TIMS.
  • قيادة والمشاركة في عمليات التدقيق الداخلية والخارجية المتعلقة بتنفيذ PSM.
  • دعم عناصر TIMS المطبقة والموكلة لفريق سلامة العمليات.

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة الكيميائية.
  • المشاركة في دورات وندوات ومؤتمرات متعلقة بسلامة العمليات تعتبر ميزة إضافية.
  • خبرة لا تقل عن 8 سنوات في صناعة الصلب أو الصناعة الكيميائية، بما في ذلك 5 سنوات على الأقل في دور إشرافي أو إداري ضمن قسم الإنتاج أو العمليات.
  • إتقان ممتاز لتحليل مخاطر العمليات (PHA) ومنهجيات تقييم المخاطر وخلفية تشغيلية.
  • مهارات تحليلية وحل مشكلات قوية.

Description

Tuwaiq Casting & Forging is seeking a technically competent and proactive Process Safety Engineer to join the EHS Department. Reporting to the EHSS Manager, this role is responsible for supporting all process safety, throughput, and reliability targets across the company's plants. The Process Safety Engineer ensures that plant problems are resolved through sound troubleshooting procedures and root cause analysis to maintain uninterrupted operations.

Key Responsibilities

Process Safety Management (PSM)

  • Review and provide comments on the development of TuwaiqCF standards supporting PSM elements
  • Develop TIMS procedures as applicable and assigned to the Process Safety Engineer role
  • Coordinate with HSE to enhance quality and compliance, ensuring a consistent approach to maintaining a safe working environment and reducing process safety incidents.

Process Hazard Analysis (PHA)

  • Participate in PHA activities to ensure compliance with process safety requirements, including process safeguards
  • Track recommendations from revalidation PHAs and manage the cyclic five-year review of PHAs in accordance with company procedures
  • Monitor progress by maintaining budget oversight and coordinating with Procurement and Contracts.

Management of Change (MOC)

  • Participate in the Technical Safety Review (TSR) of MOC committee where process safety-related changes require critical review
  • Ensure compliance of the Management of Change procedure in line with TuwaiqCF TIMS standards within the defined role and responsibilities.

EHSS Management Reporting

  • Report on the progress of meeting operational targets to keep management updated and facilitate decision-making.

Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

  • Participate in RCA investigations for Process Safety Tier 1, 2, and 3 incidents where process failure, particularly Loss of Primary Containment (LOPC), is involved
  • Address deviations through proper root cause analysis to identify improved methods and prevent recurrence.

PSM Training

  • Coordinate with the training function to ensure delivery of Process Safety element training to all plant section heads, engineers, and production staff in line with the TIMS Training Plan.

Audits

  • Lead and participate in internal and external audits related to PSM implementation
  • Support TIMS elements applicable and assigned to the Process Safety team.

Process Safety Risk Assessment

  • Review and participate in process safety-related risk assessments in accordance with TIMS procedures
  • Ensure quality of assessments and accelerate risk mitigation for high and moderate risk findings.

Facility & Asset Management

  • Ensure all facilities and equipment are maintained to the required standard in coordination with Reliability and Operations teams, based on long- and short-term plans.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
  • Participation in courses, seminars, and conferences related to Process Safety is an added advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in the steel or chemical industry, including at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role within a production or process department.

Technical Competencies

  • Excellent command of Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), risk assessment methodologies, and operational background
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • PC literacy and proficiency in relevant engineering and safety tools.
