Cost Control Engineer - Saudi National

Location: Dammam, Saudi Arabia

Salary: Up to SAR 12,600 per month

The Opportunity

TalentHive is partnering exclusively with a well-established and diversified Saudi group as it continues a significant transformation and Saudization programme across its businesses.

As part of the continued strengthening of its PMO and cost-control capability, we are looking for an experienced Saudi Cost Control Engineer to join the organisation in Dammam.

This is an opportunity to join a large, operationally diverse business and play an important role in strengthening cost visibility, budgeting, forecasting and financial control across projects and operations.

Key Responsibilities

As Cost Control Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting effective cost planning, monitoring and control, including:

• Monitor actual expenditure and commitments against approved budgets
• Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts and cost plans
• Track project and operational costs and identify variances, trends and potential overruns
• Perform detailed cost and variance analysis
• Prepare regular cost-control reports and management information
• Support forecasting and provide visibility of expected financial performance
• Maintain accurate cost information within relevant systems and reporting tools
• Work closely with PMO, Finance and operational stakeholders
• Support improvements to cost-control processes, reporting and governance

What We’re Looking For

• Saudi National
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
• 5+ years of experience in Cost Control, Cost Engineering, Project Cost Management or a closely related area
• Proven hands-on experience in budgeting, cost tracking and variance analysis
• Strong knowledge of cost-control systems, tools and reporting methodologies
• Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret cost data and identify performance issues
• Experience within a PMO or multi-project environment would be advantageous
• Professional certifications such as CCP, PMP or a similar cost-management qualification are preferred but not essential
