تسعى WSP في الشرق الأوسط إلى توظيف مهندس كهرباء ذي خبرة للانضمام إلى فريق الإشراف على الإنشاءات في مشروع تطوير بنية تحتية رئيسي في مدينة الملك عبدالله الاقتصادية (KAEC)، ويشمل موقع العمل مكة وجدة بالمملكة العربية السعودية.

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • الإشراف على أعمال البنية التحتية الكهربائية ومراقبتها لضمان الامتثال للرسومات والمواصفات المعتمدة ومتطلبات العقد.
  • مراجعة المقدمات المقدمة من المقاول والرسومات التنفيذية وطرق العمل واعتماد المواد.
  • الإشراف على تركيب شبكات توزيع الطاقة ذات الجهد المتوسط والمنخفض وأنظمة إنارة الشوارع والبنية التحتية للاتصالات والأعمال الكهربائية المرتبطة بها.
  • مراقبة تقدم الأعمال وتقديم التوجيه الفني للمقاولين وفرق الموقع.
  • الإشراف على اختبار وتشغيل وتمديد الطاقة وتسليم الأنظمة.
  • مراجعة تقارير الفحص والتأكد من الحفاظ على معايير الجودة طوال تنفيذ المشروع.
  • التنسيق مع جهات المرافق العامة والمقاولين وأصحاب المصلحة لتسهيل تسليم المشروع.
  • تحديد المشكلات الفنية وعدم المطابقة وتحديات الإنشاء والتوصية بالإجراءات التصحيحية.
  • ضمان الامتثال لمتطلبات الصحة والسلامة والبيئة والجودة.
  • دعم المهندس المقيم في تخطيط المشروع وإعداد التقارير وإدارة المخاطر ومراقبة التقدم.
  • المشاركة في الاجتماعات وتقديم المدخلات الفنية في مسائل الهندسة الكهربائية.
  • إعداد ومراجعة التقارير الفنية وتحديثات التقدم ووثائق المشروع.

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة الكهربائية من جامعة معتمدة.
  • خبرة لا تقل عن 10 سنوات في مجال الإشراف على إنشاءات مشاريع البنية التحتية.
  • خبرة مثبتة في توزيع الطاقة ذات الجهد المتوسط والمنخفض وإنارة الشوارع والمرافق الكهربائية والبنية التحتية للاتصالات.
  • خبرة سابقة في العمل مع الاستشاريين الهندسيين في مشاريع الإشراف على الإنشاءات.
  • معرفة قوية بالمعايير والممارسات الكهربائية الدولية.
  • خبرة في اختبار وتشغيل أنظمة البنية التحتية الكهربائية.
  • قدرة مثبتة على مراجعة مخرجات المقاول وحل المشكلات الفنية.
  • مهارات قوية في التواصل والتنسيق وكتابة التقارير.
  • إتقان استخدام برامج مايكروسوفت أوفيس وبرامج الهندسة ذات الصلة.
  • يفضل وجود خبرة سابقة في المملكة العربية السعودية ومشاريع البنية التحتية الكبرى.
  • التسجيل المهني والشهادات ذات الصلة تعتبر ميزة إضافية.
  • إتقان اللغة الإنجليزية أمر أساسي؛ مهارات اللغة العربية تعتبر ميزة إضافية.

Job Description

WSP is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Construction Supervision team for a major infrastructure development project at King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) . The successful candidate will oversee the supervision, review, and coordination of electrical works associated with roads, utilities, power distribution, street lighting, and telecom infrastructure, ensuring compliance with project requirements, quality standards, and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for supervising electrical construction activities and ensuring the successful delivery of power distribution, street lighting, and related infrastructure systems. The role requires strong technical expertise, construction supervision experience, and the ability to coordinate effectively with contractors, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary project teams.

  • Supervise and monitor electrical infrastructure works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
  • Review contractor submittals, shop drawings, method statements, and material approvals.
  • Oversee installation of MV and LV power distribution networks, street lighting systems, telecom infrastructure, and associated electrical works.
  • Monitor construction progress and provide technical guidance to contractors and site teams.
  • Witness testing, commissioning, energization, and handover activities.
  • Review inspection reports and ensure quality standards are maintained throughout project execution.
  • Coordinate with utility authorities, contractors, and project stakeholders to facilitate project delivery.
  • Identify technical issues, non-conformances, and construction challenges and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
  • Support the Resident Engineer in project planning, reporting, risk management, and progress monitoring.
  • Participate in meetings and provide technical input on electrical engineering matters.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, progress updates, and project documentation.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in construction supervision of infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience in MV/LV power distribution, street lighting, electrical utilities, and telecom infrastructure.
  • Previous experience working with engineering consultants on construction supervision projects.
  • Strong knowledge of international electrical codes, standards, and industry practices.
  • Experience in testing and commissioning of electrical infrastructure systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to review contractor deliverables and resolve technical issues.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and report-writing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant engineering software.
  • Previous experience in Saudi Arabia and major infrastructure projects is preferred.
  • Professional registration and relevant certifications will be considered an advantage.
  • Fluency in English is essential; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
