شركة Parsons Corporation تبحث عن مهندس رئيسي للهيدرولوجيا والصرف الصحي (Hydrology & Drainage Lead Engineer) للانضمام إلى فريقها في الرياض، المملكة العربية السعودية.

نبذة عن الوظيفة

سيتولى هذا الدور تصميم ودعم تخطيط وتحليل وتصميم أنظمة متقدمة لإدارة مياه الأمطار وتخفيف الفيضانات عبر مشاريع بنية تحتية وتخطيط حضري رفيعة المستوى في الشرق الأوسط، مع التركيز على المملكة العربية السعودية.

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • إجراء دراسات هيدرولوجية وهيدروليكية لتقييم مخاطر الفيضانات وإدارة مياه الأمطار وتصميم البنية التحتية.
  • تصميم منشآت صرف مياه الأمطار بما في ذلك القنوات المسدودة (culverts) والجسور والقنوات المفتوحة والمستنقعات المائية وشبكات الصرف.
  • المساهمة في تخطيط وتنفيذ أنظمة الصرف المستدامة (SuDS) وحماية التعرية وحلول التحكم في الفيضانات.
  • تحليل هطول الأمطار والجريان السطحي باستخدام بيانات الأرصاد الجوية والمورفولوجية.
  • استخدام أدوات النمذجة الهيدرولوجية والهيدروليكية المعيارية في الصناعة لتطوير حلول تصميم مبتكرة وفعالة.
  • مراجعة وضمان الجودة والتسليم في الوقت المحدد لحزم التصميم من مرحلة ما قبل المفهوم حتى مرحلة التصميم التفصيلي للإنشاء (IFC).
  • التعاون مع فرق متعددة التخصصات لدمج أنظمة الصرف في تصاميم البنية التحتية الأوسع.

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة المدنية.
  • خبرة عملية لا تقل عن 12 سنة في مجال الهندسة ذي الصلة.
  • إتقان استخدام حزم البرامج المكتبية (PC software packages) الشائعة في تصميم الهيدرولوجيا والصرف الصحي.

المهارات المطلوبة

  • خبرة مثبتة في مشاريع تخفيف الفيضانات الكبرى وإدارة مياه الأمطار للطرق والمخططات الرئيسية، خاصة في المملكة العربية السعودية والشرق الأوسط.
  • خلفية تقنية قوية في الهيدرولوجيا والنمذجة الهيدروليكية وتصميم بنية الصرف التحتية.
  • إتقان أدوات البرمجيات مثل: HEC-HMS، HEC-RAS، WMS، HYFRAN+، InfoWorks ICM، Civil 3D، Bentley Suite، ArcGIS Pro، Global Mapper، MS Office.
  • معرفة معايير الاستدامة لأنظمة الصرف (SuDS).
  • الالتزام بتقديم حلول هندسية عالية الجودة وفي الوقت المناسب ضمن بيئة تعاونية.

Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Hydrology & Drainage Lead Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will get to design and support the planning, design, and analysis of advanced stormwater and flood mitigation systems across high-profile infrastructure and master planning projects in the Middle East, with a focus on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Conduct hydrological and hydraulic studies for flood risk assessment, stormwater management, and infrastructure design.
  • Design stormwater drainage structures including culverts, bridges, channels, swales, ponds, and stormwater networks.
  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of sustainable drainage systems (SuDS), erosion protection, and flood control solutions.
  • Perform rainfall and runoff analysis using meteorological and morphological data.
  • Utilize industry-standard hydrology and modeling tools to develop innovative and efficient design solutions.
  • Review and ensure the quality and timely delivery of design packages from pre-concept through to IFC.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate drainage systems into wider infrastructure designs.


What Required Skills You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
  • 12+ years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in PC software packages commonly used in hydrology and storm drainage design.


What Desired Skills You'll Bring

  • Proven experience in major flood mitigation and stormwater management schemes for roads and master plan developments, especially in KSA and the Middle East.
  • Strong technical background in hydrology, hydraulic modeling, and drainage infrastructure design.
  • Proficiency in software tools such as: HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, WMS, HYFRAN+, InfoWorks ICM, Civil 3D, Bentley Suite, ArcGIS Pro, Global Mapper, MS Office.
  • Knowledge of sustainability criteria for drainage systems (SuDS).
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, timely engineering solutions in a collaborative environment.
