IHG Hotels & Resorts تعلن عن وظيفة مساعد مدير الهندسة في مكة المكرمة، السعودية. نحن نبحث عن محترف هندسي ذو خبرة لدعم مدير الهندسة في الإشراف على عمليات الهندسة والصيانة بالفندق، وضمان سلامة وراحة الضيوف.

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • مساعدة مدير الهندسة في إدارة عمليات الهندسة والصيانة اليومية للفندق.
  • الإشراف على فريق الهندسة وتنسيق المهام لضمان إنجازها بكفاءة وفي الوقت المحدد.
  • ضمان صيانة مرافق الفندق ومعداته وأنظمته بحالة آمنة وممتازة.
  • مراقبة أنشطة الصيانة الوقائية والتصحيحية ومتابعة طلبات الصيانة المعلقة.
  • دعم الفريق في حل المشكلات التقنية المتعلقة بالأنظمة الكهربائية والميكانيكية والسباكة والتدفئة والتهوية وتكييف الهواء (HVAC) والتبريد والنجارة.
  • ضمان الامتثال لمعايير الفندق ومتطلبات الصحة والسلامة واللوائح المحلية.
  • المساعدة في تخطيط ومراقبة مستلزمات الهندسة وقطع الغيار والأدوات والمعدات مع تقليل الهدر.
  • دعم مبادرات توفير الطاقة والبيئة وفق أهداف الاستدامة للفندق.
  • الاستجابة بمرونة لمتطلبات الصيانة العاجلة والطارئة لضمان سير العمل بسلاسة.
  • بناء والحفاظ على علاقات عمل قوية مع أقسام الفندق والمقاولين والموردين والضيوف والجهات التنظيمية عند الحاجة.
  • دعم مدير الهندسة في مشاريع الهندسة والتفتيش والتقارير وأداء الفريق.

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • دبلوم أو درجة في الهندسة أو إدارة المرافق أو مجال تقني ذي صلة؛ قد يتم النظر في التدريب المهني أو الخبرة المكافئة.
  • خبرة سابقة في هندسة الفنادق أو إدارة المرافق أو صيانة المباني أو مجال ذي صلة.
  • خبرة مثبتة في الإشراف أو قيادة فريق هندسة أو صيانة.
  • معرفة تقنية جيدة بالأنظمة الكهربائية والميكانيكية والسباكة والتدفئة والتهوية وتكييف الهواء (HVAC) والتبريد والنجارة.
  • مهارات قوية في حل المشكلات والتواصل والتنظيم.
  • معرفة ببرامج الصيانة الوقائية وعمليات الهندسة في الفنادق.
  • القدرة على الاستجابة بفعالية للطلبات العاجلة.

Our guests’ safety and comfort always come first. Which is why we’re looking for an experienced and hands-on engineering professional to support the Director of Engineering in overseeing the hotel’s engineering operations. As our Assistant Director of Engineering, you will help lead and coach the engineering team, ensuring that all maintenance activities are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

  • Assisting the Director of Engineering in managing the daily engineering and maintenance operations of the hotel.
  • Supervising and coordinating the engineering team to ensure tasks are assigned effectively and completed on time.
  • Ensuring the hotel’s facilities, equipment, and systems are maintained in safe and excellent working condition.
  • Monitoring preventive and corrective maintenance activities and following up on outstanding maintenance requests.
  • Supporting the team in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and carpentry systems.
  • Ensuring compliance with hotel standards, health and safety requirements, and applicable local regulations.
  • Assisting with the planning and control of engineering supplies, spare parts, tools, and equipment while minimising waste.
  • Supporting energy-saving and environmental initiatives in line with the hotel’s sustainability goals.
  • Responding flexibly to urgent and ad-hoc maintenance requirements to ensure smooth hotel operations.
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with hotel departments, contractors, suppliers, guests, and regulatory authorities as required.
  • Supporting the Director of Engineering with engineering projects, inspections, reports, and team performance.

What We need from you:

  • Diploma or degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related technical field; vocational training or equivalent experience may also be considered.
  • Previous experience in hotel engineering, facilities management, building maintenance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience supervising or leading an engineering or maintenance team.
  • Good technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and carpentry systems.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and hotel engineering operations.
  • Ability to respond effectively
