شركة بارسونز (Parsons Corporation) تبحث عن مهندس طرق أول (Senior Roads Design Engineer) للانضمام إلى فريقها في الرياض، السعودية، والعمل ضمن مكتب إدارة المشاريع (PMO) على مشاريع الطرق السريعة والبنية التحتية الكبرى في العاصمة.
المهام والمسؤوليات
- إكمال مجموعة متنوعة من المهام تشمل المراجعة المتعمقة لرسومات الطرق والطرق السريعة والمواصفات وتقارير التصميم في مرحلتي التصميم المفاهيمي والتفصيلي، مع التركيز على الواجهات مع المنشآت والصرف والمرافق والمرور والتخصصات الأخرى.
- أداء مهام هندسية متقدمة في الطرق السريعة تشمل استخراج وتفسير المعلومات الهندسية من الرسومات، وتطوير بدائل التصميم المفاهيمي، وإعداد التفاصيل والعروض الهندسية للطرق السريعة والتقاطعات متعددة المستويات.
- إجراء تحليلات التكلفة والفائدة لخيارات تصميم الطرق والتقاطعات البديلة، وتقديم توصيات واضحة ومدعومة لدعم اتخاذ القرارات.
- إعداد ومراجعة حسابات تصميم الرصف وعناصر التصميم المتعلقة بسلامة الطرق، وضمان الامتثال الكامل للمعايير وأفضل الممارسات.
- مراجعة تسليمات التصميم من الأطراف الثالثة ورسومات الموردين والمستندات الفنية، وإعداد تعليقات فنية منسقة وتحليلات العطاءات الفنية حسب الحاجة.
- التنسيق مع الفرق متعددة التخصصات وأصحاب المصلحة لحل مشكلات التصميم ومعالجة التعليقات ودعم الموافقات في الوقت المناسب.
- إعداد وتقديم عروض تقديمية حول مسائل تصميم الطرق والتقاطعات المعقدة للفرق الداخلية والعملاء وأصحاب المصلحة الخارجيين.
- العمل كمستشار للإدارة العليا في مسائل هندسة الطرق والطرق السريعة، بما في ذلك مخاطر التصميم وفرص الهندسة القيمية واعتبارات قابلية التنفيذ.
- أداء مهام أخرى ذات صلة بالمنصب كما هو مطلوب.
- قيادة و/أو المشاركة في مراجعات سلامة الطرق الرسمية في مراحل المشروع الرئيسية، وضمان توثيق نتائج المراجعة ومعالجتها بفعالية في التصميم.
الشروط والمتطلبات
- درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة المدنية (يفضل درجة الماجستير).
- خبرة لا تقل عن 15 عاماً في تصميم الطرق مع تركيز خاص على الطرق السريعة والتصميمات المعقدة للتقاطعات متعددة المستويات.
- حيازة شهادة معتمدة كمدقق سلامة طرق (Road Safety Auditor) أو مؤهل معادل معترف به دولياً/وطنياً.
- خبرة في العمل ضمن بيئة فريق متعدد التخصصات.
- نهج استباقي في الأنشطة الخاصة ومساعدة التخصصات الأخرى لتعزيز كفاءة مكتب إدارة المشاريع.
المهارات المطلوبة
المهارات الأساسية: - قدرة مثبتة على تطوير التصاميم الهندسية للطرق، بما في ذلك المحاذاة الأفقية والرأسية، المقاطع العرضية، التقاطعات، المنحدرات، وتخطيطات التقاطعات وفقاً للمعايير الدولية والمحلية. - فهم متين لمبادئ تصميم الرصف بما في ذلك اختيار هيكل الرصف والمواد واعتبارات عمر التصميم، مع القدرة على مراجعة وتحسين تصاميم الرصف. - معرفة جيدة بمبادئ هندسة سلامة الطرق، بما في ذلك تطبيق معايير سلامة الطرق ودمج إجراءات السلامة ضمن التصميم. - خبرة في مراجعة تصاميم الأطراف الثالثة وتنسيق التعليقات للموافقة. - مهارات عرض وتواصل جيدة. - خبرة مثبتة في إجراء أو المساهمة في مراجعات سلامة الطرق الرسمية لمشاريع الطرق السريعة والحضرية. المهارات المستحسنة (إضافية): - خبرة سابقة في العمل في استشارات التصميم و/أو شركة إدارة مشاريع / استشارات إدارة مشاريع (PMC/PMO). - حاصل على الزمالة المهنية (Chartered أو ما يعادلها) من هيئة هندسية معترف بها. - درجة الماجستير في الهندسة المدنية / الإنشائية. - خبرة في إدارة المهام و/أو المشاريع الكبيرة.

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Roads Design Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to work within a PMO working on major highways / infrastructure projects in the KSA Capital, Riyadh City.
What You'll Be Doing
- Completes a variety of assignments, including in-depth reviews of road and highway drawings, specifications, and design reports at concept and detailed design stages, with particular emphasis on interfaces with structures, drainage, utilities, traffic, and other disciplines.
- Performs advanced highway engineering tasks, including extraction and interpretation of engineering information from drawings, development of conceptual design alternatives, and preparation of engineering details and exhibits for highways and multilevel interchanges.
- Conducts cost-benefit analyses of alternative road and interchange design options and provides clear, well-justified recommendations to support decision-making.
- Prepares and reviews pavement design calculations and road safety-related design elements, ensuring full compliance with applicable standards and best practices.
- Reviews third-party design submissions, supplier drawings, and technical documents, and prepares coordinated technical comments and technical bid analyses, as required.
- Coordinates with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to resolve design issues, address and close comments, and support timely design approvals.
- Prepares and delivers presentations on complex road and interchange design matters to internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
- May act in an advisory capacity to senior management on road and highway engineering matters, including design risks, value engineering opportunities, and constructability considerations.
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
- Leads and/or participates in formal Road Safety Audits at key project stages (concept, preliminary design, detailed design, and pre‑opening), and ensures audit findings are clearly documented and effectively addressed within the design.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. Master’s Degree desirable.
- 15 years of solid roadway design experience with particular emphasis on Highway and complex multilevel interchange designs.
- Proven capability in developing geometric road designs, including horizontal and vertical alignments, cross-sections, interchanges, ramps, and junction layouts in accordance with international and local standards.
- Solid understanding of pavement design principles, including pavement structure selection, materials, and design life considerations, with the ability to review and optimize pavement designs.
- Good knowledge of road safety engineering principles, including application of road safety standards and integration of safety measures within the design.
- Experience in reviewing third party designs and coordinating comments for approval
- Experience of working within a multi-discipline team environment
- Proactive approach to own activities and helping in other disciplines, as far as practically possible, to assist in PMO overall efficiency
- Good presentation and communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting or contributing to formal Road Safety Audits for highway and urban road projects.
- Possession of a recognized Road Safety Auditor certification (or equivalent nationally/internationally accredited Road Safety Audit qualification) is required
- Previous experience of working in a design consultancy and/or PMC/PMO
- Chartered (or similar) status with an industry recognized engineering body
- Master’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
- Experience managing large tasks and/or projects
