شركة Acwa China تعلن عن وظيفة أخصائي كيميائي (Shift Chemist) للعمل في محطة كهرباء قرية المستقلة (QIPP)، السعودية.

نبذة عن الوظيفة

إجراء تحاليل كيميائية نوعية وكمية وتجارب في المختبر لمراقبة الجودة أو العمليات أو لتطوير منتجات أو معرفة جديدة. يتبع تقاريرياً لكبير الكيميائيين ضمن قسم العمليات.

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • الامتثال لقواعد وأنظمة السلامة، والإدراك الكامل لمخاطر السلامة في المحطة.
  • الإلمام بالمتطلبات التنظيمية المتعلقة بالامتثال البيئي، والمواد الكيميائية المستخدمة، وMSDS، ورسوم P&IDs، وإجراءات التشغيل القياسية (SOPs)، وتعليمات العمل، وإجراءات الطوارئ.
  • الحفاظ على جميع السجلات المتعلقة بكيمياء المحطة.
  • المسؤولية عن جميع أنشطة المختبر بما في ذلك أخذ العينات وتحليلها والتأكد من أن جميع المعايير ضمن الحدود المسموحة.
  • التنسيق مع مهندس/مشرف الوردية أثناء بدء التشغيل والإيقاف والتشغيل العادي للمحطة، والحفاظ على التحكم في الكيمياء على مدار الساعة.
  • الفحص النوعي لجميع المواد الكيميائية الواردة إلى المحطة.
  • تحضير وتنفيذ التنظيف الحمضي لمحطات التحلية ومحطات هيبو تحت إشراف كبير الكيميائيين عند الحاجة.
  • المسؤولية عن النظافة المنزلية لأجهزة المختبر والانسكابات.
  • إجراء استكشاف الأعطال في أنظمة الجرعات الكيميائية وأجهزة المختبر، ومتابعة الصيانة اليومية وفقاً لتقارير الأعطال.
  • حفظ سجلات استهلاك المواد الكيميائية والتنسيق مع المخازن.
  • مراقبة جميع المعايير الكيميائية وتسجيل القراءات الدورية في سجلات التشغيل، وتلخيص الأنشطة والأحداث في سجل الوردية.
  • إعداد التقارير الشهرية وغيرها المتعلقة بنطاق الإشراف.
  • أداء أي مهام أخرى مكلف بها.

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • درجة البكالوريوس في الكيمياء (مطلوب).
  • درجة الماجستير في الكيمياء (يفضل).
  • خبرة لا تقل عن 5 سنوات في المجال ذي الصلة.
  • الاستعداد للعمل في موقع ناءٍ.

المهارات المطلوبة

  • الإلمام بمبادئ نظم إدارة الجودة والصحة والسلامة المهنية والبيئة.
  • المعرفة بالمتطلبات التنظيمية المطبقة.
  • تقييم مخاطر الخطر وتقييم تأثير الجوانب.
  • المعرفة بالتأثير البيئي والصحي للمواد الكيميائية المستخدمة في المحطة.
  • إلمام جيد بأنشطة التشغيل في محطات الكهرباء والتحلية.
  • مهارة جيدة في اتخاذ القرارات.
  • مهارة تحليلية جيدة.
  • المعرفة أو الإلمام بـ ISO 9001 و14001 وOHSAS 18001 (يفضل).

Chemist - Location: Qurayyah Independent Power Plant (QIPP)

Department / Plant: Operations

Reporting To: Chief Chemist / Sr. Chemist

Job Summary: Conduct qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses or chemical experiments in laboratories for quality or process control or to develop new products or knowledge.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Comply with safety rules and regulations. Be fully aware of the safety hazards in the plant.
  • Familiarise with regulatory requirements pertaining to environmental compliance, chemicals used in the plant, MSDS, related plant P&IDs, SOPs, Work Instructions, as well as emergency operation procedures and any other related documents.
  • Maintain all records related to plant chemistry.
  • Responsible for all laboratory activities including chemical sampling and analysis pertaining to the plant and ensure all related parameters are within limits.
  • Coordinate with Shift Charge Engineer/Supervisor during unit start-up, shutdown and normal running of the plant and maintain the chemistry under his control in round-the-clock shifts.
  • Carry out quality inspection of all chemicals received in the plant.
  • Make preparations and carry out acid cleaning of Desalination plants and Hypo plants under the supervision of the Chief Chemist whenever required.
  • Responsible for housekeeping of laboratory equipment and spillages.
  • Carry out troubleshooting in chemical dosing systems and laboratory equipment and follow up day-to-day maintenance as per defect reports.
  • Maintain chemical consumption records and coordinate with stores.
  • Monitor all chemical parameters and enter periodic readings on log sheets. Summarize all activities/events that took place during the shift in the log book.
  • Prepare monthly reports and other reports pertaining to the area under his supervision.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Experience (Type And Duration)

Minimum

  • 5 years in related field

Required Skills

  • Awareness of Quality, Occupational Health & Safety and Environment Management System principles.
  • Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Hazard Risk Assessment.
  • Aspect Impact Assessment.
  • Knowledge of environmental and health impact of chemicals being used in the plant.
  • Should be well conversant with Power/Desalination operational activities.
  • Good decision-making skill.
  • Good analytical skill.

Desired Certification / Job Specific Skill / Training

  • ISO 9001, 14001, OHSAS 18001 awareness/working knowledge is preferred.

Work Condition

  • Ready to work in remote location.
