Senior Road Engineer

تسعى شركة WSP في الشرق الأوسط، إحدى الشركات الاستشارية الرائدة في مجال البناء والمتخصصة في الإشراف الميداني على مشاريع الطرق والأنفاق والطرق السريعة والجسور، إلى تعيين مهندس طرق أول للانضمام إلى فريقها في الرياض.
المهام والمسؤوليات
- قيادة تخطيط وتصميم وتطوير مشاريع البنية التحتية للطرق، بما في ذلك دراسات المحاذاة والتصميم الهندسي وتصميم الرصف وتصميم الصرف الصحي، وفقاً لمتطلبات العميل والمعايير التنظيمية وأفضل الممارسات.
- إجراء دراسات الجدوى وتحليلات الأثر المروري وتقييم المخاطر لدعم قرارات التصميم وتحسين نتائج المشروع.
- تقديم الإشراف الفني والتوجيه أثناء مرحلة البناء لمشاريع الطرق، وإجراء عمليات التفتيش الميداني المنتظمة لمراقبة التقدم والجودة والامتثال للمواصفات الهندسية والمتطلبات التعاقدية.
- تنفيذ إجراءات صارمة لضمان الجودة ومراقبتها لضمان تنفيذ أنشطة البناء بأمان وكفاءة ووفقاً للخطط والمعايير المعتمدة.
- تطوير وتنفيذ خطط إدارة حركة المرور وتدابير السلامة لتقليل الاضطرابات وضمان سلامة مستخدمي الطرق والعاملين في البناء والجمهور.
- مراقبة تدفق حركة المرور واللافتات والتحويلات المؤقتة، ومعالجة أي مشاكل أو مخاوف بشكل استباقي للحفاظ على تشغيل الطرق بسلاسة وأمان أثناء البناء.
- التواصل مع العملاء وأصحاب المصلحة والجهات التنظيمية والمجتمعات لفهم احتياجاتهم ومخاوفهم وتوقعاتهم المتعلقة بمشاريع البنية التحتية للطرق.
- تسهيل التواصل الفعال والتعاون بين أصحاب المصلحة في المشروع، وتقديم تحديثات منتظمة وتقارير مرحلية وعروض فنية لضمان الشفافية والمواءمة.
- إدارة ميزانيات المشاريع وجداولها الزمنية ومواردها بفعالية، وتتبع التقدم وتحديد المخاطر وتنفيذ استراتيجيات التخفيف لضمان تسليم مشاريع الطرق في الوقت المحدد وبتكلفة مناسبة.
- التنسيق مع فرق المشروع متعددة التخصصات والاستشاريين والمقاولين والموردين لتحقيق أهداف المشروع وتقديم نتائج عالية الجودة تلبي أو تتجاوز توقعات العميل.
الشروط والمتطلبات
- درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة المدنية أو مجال ذي صلة (يفضل درجة الماجستير).
- خبرة لا تقل عن 15 عاماً في هندسة الطرق، مع التركيز على الإشراف الميداني في قطاع الاستشارات الإنشائية.
- رخصة هندسية مهنية أو شهادة معادلة (مفضلة).
- معرفة واسعة وخبرة في تصميم الطرق وإنشائها وصيانتها، مع فهم عميق للمعايير واللوائح ذات الصلة.
- إتقان اللغة الإنجليزية؛ مهارات اللغة العربية تعتبر ميزة إضافية.

Project Planning and Design:
- Lead the planning, design, and development of road infrastructure projects, including alignment studies, geometric design, pavement design, and drainage design, in accordance with client requirements, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.
- Conduct feasibility assessments, traffic impact analyses, and risk assessments to inform design decisions and optimize project outcomes.
- Provide technical oversight and guidance during the construction phase of road projects, conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with engineering specifications and contractual requirements.
- Implement robust quality assurance and control measures to ensure that construction activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved plans and standards.
- Develop and implement traffic management plans and safety measures to minimize disruptions and ensure the safety of road users, construction workers, and the public.
- Monitor traffic flow, signage, and temporary diversions, and proactively address any issues or concerns to maintain smooth and safe operation of roadways during construction.
- Engage with clients, stakeholders, regulatory authorities, and communities to understand their needs, concerns, and expectations related to road infrastructure projects.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, providing regular updates, progress reports, and technical presentations to ensure transparency and alignment.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively, tracking progress, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of road projects.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to achieve project objectives and deliver high-quality outcomes that meet or exceed client expectations.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in road engineering, with a focus on site supervision within the construction consultancy sector.
- Professional engineering license or equivalent certification preferred.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in road design, construction, and maintenance, with a deep understanding of relevant standards, codes, and regulations.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and road engineering analysis tools.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams, manage project budgets and schedules, and deliver successful outcomes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering road infrastructure projects, with a focus on safety, quality, and innovation.
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills would be advantageous.
