تعلن شركة Tuwaiq Casting & Forging Company عن توفر وظيفة مهندس فرن القوس الكهربائي (EAF Engineer) في قسم صهر المعادن بمدينة رأس الخير، المنطقة الشرقية، السعودية. سيكون المرشح مسؤولاً عن تشغيل وإدارة فرن القوس الكهربائي وإعداد المواد الخام والمواد المساعدة اللازمة لعملية التصنيع.
المهام والمسؤوليات
- إعداد وصيانة مواصفات عمل فرن القوس الكهربائي بناءً على معايير المواد ومواصفات التصنيع وإجراءات الصهر المعتمدة.
- تخطيط وإدارة المواد الخام والخردة وعناصر السبائك والمواد الصهرية والمواد الاستهلاكية والأقطاب الكهربائية والأدوات اللازمة لتشغيل الفرن وفقاً لجدول الإنتاج.
- مراقبة وضبط معايير تشغيل الفرن مثل ممارسات الشحن والطاقة الكهربائية وثبات القوس وحقن الأكسجين والكربون وممارسات الخبث ودرجة حرارة الصهر وظروف التفريغ وكيمياء الصلب لتحقيق المتطلبات المعدنية المحددة.
- التنسيق مع قسم الصيانة لضمان الصيانة الوقائية والفحص والمعايرة والإصلاح في الوقت المناسب لمعدات الفرن والمحولات وأنظمة الأقطاب والتبريد والمعدات المساعدة.
- تحسين أداء الفرن من خلال زيادة كفاءة الصهر وتقليل استهلاك الطاقة وتقليل استهلاك الأقطاب والمواد الحرارية وزيادة إنتاجية المعدن وتقليل وقت التفريغ.
- ضمان الامتثال لمتطلبات API Spec Q1 وAPI 20A وAPI 20B وISO 9001:2015 ومتطلبات الجودة الخاصة بالعملاء المتعلقة بعمليات الصهر والتحكم في العمليات.
- مراقبة استهلاك الكهرباء والأقطاب الكهربائية والمواد الخام وتكاليف الإنتاج الأخرى لتحسين الكفاءة التشغيلية.
- التحقيق في الانحرافات في العمليات وتحليل عيوب الصهر وإجراء تحليل السبب الجذري وتنفيذ الإجراءات التصحيحية والوقائية.
- الحفاظ على سجلات إنتاج دقيقة وتحليل الأداء التشغيلي باستخدام أنظمة ERP وMES لتحسين الإنتاجية وتقليل الفاقد وتعزيز إمكانية التتبع ودعم التحسين المستمر.
- التنسيق مع فرق الإنتاج والجودة والمواد الخام والمواد الحرارية والصيانة لضمان تشغيل الفرن بكفاءة دون انقطاع.
- ضمان الامتثال لمتطلبات السلامة والبيئة والنظافة العامة أثناء عمليات الفرن.
الشروط والمتطلبات
- درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة المعدنية أو الهندسة الميكانيكية أو الهندسة الكهربائية أو تخصص ذي صلة.
- خبرة من 3 إلى 5 سنوات في تشغيل أفران القوس الكهربائي في صناعة الصلب أو المسابك.
- خبرة عملية في الصهر والتكرير وتشغيل الفرن واستكشاف الأخطاء وإصلاحها.
المهارات المطلوبة
- معرفة بتشغيل فرن القوس الكهربائي والتحكم في القوس وتنظيم الأقطاب وممارسات الصهر.
- فهم شحن الخردة وممارسات الخبث وحقن الأكسجين والكربون والتحكم في درجة الحرارة وكيمياء الصلب.
- معرفة بأداء المواد الحرارية وتحسين استهلاك الطاقة وزيادة الإنتاجية والتحكم في التكاليف.
- الإلمام بمتطلبات الجودة API Spec Q1 وAPI 20A وAPI 20B وISO 9001.
- معرفة متطلبات السلامة والبيئة والتحكم في الانبعاثات لعمليات الفرن.
- القدرة على تحسين أداء الفرن وكفاءة الصهر وإنتاجية الإنتاج.
- خبرة في استكشاف المشكلات الفنية للعمليات وتنفيذ الإجراءات التصحيحية.
- إجادة استخدام أنظمة ERP وMES وتحليل بيانات الإنتاج.
- الإلمام بأنظمة PLC والأتمتة (ميزة إضافية).
- مهارات تحليلية قوية في حل المشكلات وتحليل السبب الجذري.
- القدرة على تحسين العمليات ومراقبة مؤشرات الأداء الرئيسية.
- مهارات تواصل وتنسيق جيدة مع أقسام الصيانة والمواد الخام والجودة والإنتاج.

Reporting to the Melting Shop Manager, this role is responsible for the operation and management of the Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) required for manufacturing, including the management of raw materials, subsidiary materials, consumables, and tools necessary for EAF operations.

Reporting to the Melting Shop Manager, this role is responsible for the operation and management of the Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) required for manufacturing, including the management of raw materials, subsidiary materials, consumables, and tools necessary for EAF operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain Electric Arc Furnace work specifications based on material standards, manufacturing specifications, and approved melting procedures
- Plan and manage raw materials, scrap, alloying elements, fluxes, consumables, electrodes, and tools required for EAF operations in accordance with the production schedule
- Monitor and control EAF operating parameters including charging practices, power input, arc stability, oxygen and carbon injection, slag practice, melting temperature, tapping conditions, and melt chemistry to achieve specified metallurgical requirements
- Coordinate with the Maintenance Department to ensure preventive maintenance, inspection, calibration, and timely repair of EAF equipment, transformers, electrode systems, cooling systems, and auxiliary equipment
- Optimise furnace performance by improving melting efficiency, reducing power consumption, minimising electrode and refractory consumption, maximising metal yield, and reducing tap-to-tap time
- Ensure compliance with API Spec Q1, API 20A, API 20B, ISO 9001:2015, and applicable customer quality requirements related to melting operations and process control
- Monitor electricity consumption, electrode usage, raw material consumption, and other production costs to improve operational efficiency
- Investigate process abnormalities, analyse melting defects, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Maintain accurate production records and analyse operational performance using ERP and MES systems to improve productivity, reduce waste, enhance traceability, and support continuous improvement
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Raw Material, Refractory, and Maintenance teams to ensure uninterrupted and efficient EAF operations
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and housekeeping requirements throughout EAF operations.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3-5 years of experience in Electric Arc Furnace operations within the steel or foundry industry
- Hands-on experience in melting, refining, furnace operation, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of EAF operation, arc control, electrode regulation, and melting practices
- Understanding of scrap charging, slag practice, oxygen and carbon injection, temperature control, and steel chemistry
- Knowledge of refractory performance, energy optimisation, yield improvement, and cost control
- Familiarity with API Spec Q1, API 20A, API 20B, and ISO 9001 quality management requirements
- Knowledge of safety, environmental, and emission control requirements for EAF operations
- Ability to optimise EAF performance, melting efficiency, and production output
- Experience in troubleshooting process issues and implementing corrective actions
- Proficiency in ERP, MES, and production data analysis systems
- Familiarity with PLC and automation systems is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills
- Process optimisation and KPI monitoring abilities
- Good communication and coordination with Maintenance, Raw Materials, Quality, and Production teams
- Strong reporting and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively under production schedules and high-pressure operating conditions.
