تعلن شركة Carrier عن توفر وظيفة مهندس أنظمة (Engineer, Systems Engineering) في جدة، السعودية، لدعم تطوير منتجات التدفئة والتهوية وتكييف الهواء (HVAC) وتحسين الأنظمة ومبادرات التوطين في منطقة الشرق الأوسط.
نبذة عن الوظيفة
- Carrier تبحث عن مهندس أنظمة ذو خبرة لدعم تطوير منتجات HVAC وتحسين الأنظمة ومبادرات التوطين في الشرق الأوسط.
- سيتركز الدور على تكييف أنظمة HVAC المصممة عالمياً مع قدرات التصنيع المحلية ومتطلبات السوق والظروف البيئية والمعايير التنظيمية المطبقة.
- سيشارك المهندس في تحليل هندسة الأنظمة والمحاكاة الحرارية والنماذج الأولية والتحقق من المنتجات والمقارنة المعيارية ومبادرات هندسة القيمة.
المهام والمسؤوليات
- إجراء محاكاة تصميم أنظمة HVAC وحسابات انتقال الحرارة وتحليلات هندسية لتقييم أداء النظام وتحديد فرص التحسين.
- دعم تطوير وتوطين وتحسين منتجات HVAC السكنية والتجارية الخفيفة من خلال النماذج الأولية والاختبار والتقييم الفني.
- المساهمة في توطين وتنفيذ أنظمة HVAC المطورة عالمياً داخل مرافق التصنيع في الشرق الأوسط، بما يضمن التوافق مع المتطلبات الإقليمية والظروف التشغيلية.
- دعم برامج هندسة HVAC في الشرق الأوسط وورش العمل الفنية ومبادرات قيادة التكلفة.
- المشاركة في مشاريع هندسة القيمة وتحسين التكلفة لتحسين أداء المنتج وقابلية التصنيع والجودة والتنافسية من حيث التكلفة.
- إجراء مقارنة معيارية للمنتجات باستخدام مراجع الكتالوج والمقارنات المادية للمنتجات وأنشطة التفكيك لتحديد فجوات الأداء وفرص التحسين.
- دعم أنشطة تكامل الأنظمة والتحقق والاختبار والتأهيل طوال دورة تطوير المنتج.
- تقييم البدائل الهندسية بناءً على الأداء الفني والتكلفة والمخاطر والموثوقية وقابلية التصنيع والخدمة.
- ضمان امتثال الأنشطة الهندسية للمعايير الصناعية والمتطلبات التنظيمية وعمليات Carrier الهندسية العالمية.
- تحليل البيانات الهندسية وإعداد التقارير الفنية وعرض النتائج والتوصيات على أصحاب المصلحة المعنيين.
- تحديد المخاطر الفنية المحتملة والتأخير في المشاريع وتجاوز التكاليف، والتعاون مع الفرق متعددة الوظائف لتطوير حلول فعالة.
- الاستجابة لمتطلبات العملاء والسوق من خلال دعم التحسين المستمر للمنتج وتطبيق أفضل الممارسات الهندسية.
الشروط والمتطلبات
- درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة الميكانيكية أو تخصص هندسي ذي صلة.
- خبرة لا تقل عن 3-5 سنوات في صناعة HVAC، ويفضل في مجال البحث والتطوير أو تطوير منتجات جديدة أو هندسة المنتجات أو هندسة الأنظمة.
- خبرة عملية في تطوير منتجات HVAC أو تقييم أداء الأنظمة أو الاختبار أو دعم التصنيع.
- خبرة في التحليل الهندسي والحسابات الحرارية والمحاكاة أو أنشطة تحسين المنتج.
- يفضل: الإلمام بأسواق HVAC في الشرق الأوسط وأفريقيا، بما في ذلك متطلبات المنتج الإقليمية وظروف التشغيل.
- يفضل: الإلمام بالمعايير الصناعية ومتطلبات الاعتماد مثل AHRI وEurovent وSASO وMoIAT.
- يفضل: خبرة في قيادة أو المساهمة في مشاريع هندسة القيمة أو خفض التكاليف أو قيادة التكلفة على نطاق واسع.
- يفضل: خبرة في المقارنة المعيارية للمنتجات وتحليل المنافسين وأنشطة التفكيك المادي.
- يفضل: فهم دورة تطوير المنتج الجديد الكاملة من تطوير المفهوم إلى التصميم والنماذج الأولية والاختبار والتحقق والإنتاج.

About The Role

Working closely with regional and global engineering teams, the role will help deliver high-quality, cost-effective, compliant, and reliable HVAC solutions while maintaining alignment with Carrier’s global engineering standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform HVAC system design simulations, heat transfer calculations, and engineering analyses to assess system performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support the development, localization, and enhancement of residential and light commercial HVAC products through prototyping, testing, and technical evaluation.
- Contribute to the localization and implementation of globally developed HVAC systems within Middle East manufacturing facilities, ensuring alignment with regional requirements and operational conditions.
- Support Middle East HVAC engineering programs, technical workshops, and cost leadership initiatives.
- Participate in value engineering and cost optimization projects to improve product performance, manufacturability, quality, and cost competitiveness.
- Conduct product benchmarking using catalogue references, physical product comparisons, and teardown activities to identify performance gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Support system integration, verification, validation, testing, and qualification activities throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Evaluate engineering alternatives based on technical performance, cost, risk, reliability, manufacturability, and serviceability.
- Ensure engineering activities comply with applicable industry standards, regulatory requirements, and Carrier’s global engineering processes.
- Analyze engineering data, prepare technical reports, and present findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
- Identify potential technical risks, project delays, and cost overruns, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop effective solutions.
- Respond to customer and market requirements by supporting continuous product improvement and the implementation of engineering best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in the HVAC industry, preferably in Research & Development (R&D), New Product Development (NPD), product engineering, or system engineering.
- Practical experience in HVAC product development, system performance evaluation, testing, or manufacturing support.
- Experience with engineering analysis, thermal calculations, simulation, or product optimization activities.
- Knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems, including product development, testing, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with mechanical design and engineering simulation tools such as Creo, CFD software, and AutoCAD.
- Understanding of HVAC system performance, heat transfer principles, and product design fundamentals.
- Ability to analyze technical data, evaluate engineering alternatives, and develop practical solutions to complex problems.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical reporting skills.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple projects and collaborate with regional and global engineering teams.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Exposure to Middle East and Africa HVAC markets, including regional product requirements and operating conditions.
- Familiarity with applicable HVAC industry standards and certification requirements, including AHRI, Eurovent, SASO, and MoIAT.
- Experience leading or contributing to large-scale value engineering, cost reduction, or cost leadership projects.
- Experience in product benchmarking, competitive product analysis, physical benchmarking, and teardown activities.
- Understanding of the complete New Product Development (NPD) lifecycle, from concept development through design, prototyping, testing, validation, and production.
- Ability to adapt quickly to established engineering processes, complex technical environments, and changing business priorities.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to understand and respond effectively to technical and product performance issues.
- Effective localization of HVAC systems to meet regional market, manufacturing, and compliance requirements.
