تعلن شركة KBR عن فرصة لوظيفة سائق شاحنة ثقيلة (Heavy Truck Driver) في حي العزيزية بالمنطقة الشرقية في المملكة العربية السعودية. وتقدم KBR، من خلال وحدة حلول التقنية المستدامة (STS)، حلولاً متكاملة ذات قيمة مضافة عبر دورة حياة الأصول بالكامل.

نبذة عن الوظيفة

ينقل سائق الشاحنة البضائع من مكان إلى آخر بواسطة شاحنة أو فان أو أي مركبة قادرة على حمل الأحمال الكبيرة، سواءً كان يعمل لدى شركة أو بموجب عقود مستقلة. وقد يُكلَّف بنقل المستلزمات أو المواد الكيميائية الخطرة أو معدات التصنيع.

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • نقل الshحنات من نقطة إلى أخرى لتوزيعها أو بيعها أو شرائها
  • فحص الشاحنات والتأكد من سلامتها، واتباع تعليمات السلامة خاصةً عند نقل المواد أو المواد الكيميائية الخطرة
  • المسؤولية عن حالة المركبة والبحث عن أي عطل في أجزائها
  • فحص الحمولة للتأكد من تحميلها بشكل صحيح
  • مراجعة جميع مستندات الشحن الضرورية
  • قد يعمل مع سائق إضافي يقود بنظام الورديات لتخفيف الضغط عن السائق الأساسي
  • ضمان الالتزام بجميع إجراءات السلامة
  • تشجيع الإبلاغ عن الأفعال والظروف غير الآمنة
  • الالتزام بجميع إجراءات الصحة والسلامة والبيئة (SHE) قبل بدء العمل وأثناءه

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • خبرة لا تقل عن 3 سنوات في المجال
  • لياقة بدنية جيدة، إذ قد يحتاج السائق إلى البقاء على الطريق لأيام دون راحة
  • معرفة بصيانة الشاحنة للتعامل مع الأعطال في المناطق النائية
  • الالتزام بالمواعيد واتباع الجدول الزمني لضمان نقل البضائع في وقتها
  • الحذر الشديد واتباع إجراءات الوقاية عند نقل المواد الخطرة أو القابلة للكسر

KBR is looking for an Heavy Truck Driver- A truck driver works either for a company or under independent contracts who transports different types of merchandise from one place to another in a truck, van or any vehicle capable of carrying large loads. He may have to transport supplies, hazardous chemicals, manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • The primary responsibility of a truck driver is to haul cargo from one point to another so that they can be distributed, bought or sold
  • inspect trucks for safety and follow the safety instructions, especially when carrying hazardous materials or chemicals
  • He is also responsible for the condition of his vehicle and look for any malfunctioning part
  • He must inspect the cargo to check whether it has been loaded correctly
  • He must also review all the necessary shipping documents
  • Some truck drivers get an extra driver who works under him and drives in shifts to take off the pressure from one driver.
  • Make sure for compliances of all safety procedures.
  • Encourage reporting of unsafe acts and conditions
  • Comply with all SHE procedures prior to commencement and during work.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in his field
  • drivers need to be in good physical condition as they sometimes need to be on the road for days without rest
  • They should have knowledge of how to maintain the truck, in case it breaks down in the middle of nowhere
  • They must be punctual and follow the schedule in order to transport the merchandise on time
  • They must also be very careful and follow the precautionary measures when carrying hazardous or fragile materials
