We are looking for an Associate Web Developer to support our team during a significant engagement with a Riyadh-based client. This is a permanent, full-time position that is performed entirely through remote work. You will help build and maintain the digital tools that allow our clients to move from disorganized habits to clear, recorded management rhythms.
About the role
At Olive Tree Consulting, we believe that technology should make work easier to hold, not more complicated. This role exists to bridge the gap between our advisory work and the technical tools our clients need to stay organized. When we help a team fix their decision-making habits, they often need simple, reliable web interfaces where those decisions can be logged and tracked. You will work alongside our consultants to build these tools, ensuring they are functional and easy to use. This is an entry-level position where you will learn how to apply coding skills to solve practical management friction.
What you will do - Write clean and readable HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build internal web tools and document repositories.
- Update and maintain existing web environments used by our Riyadh-based client to ensure their records remain accessible.
- Translate simple management processes, such as meeting rhythms or decision logs, into functional digital forms.
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs in our internal tools to keep consulting projects moving without technical delays.
- Collaborate with consultants to ensure the web interfaces we build match the plain-spoken and practical style of our firm.
- Test new features for usability and performance across different browsers and devices.
- Keep clear documentation for every tool you build so that clients can eventually manage these systems on their own.
- Participate in remote team syncs to discuss project progress and share updates on technical tasks.
What we are looking for - A high degree of attention to detail and a preference for simple, working solutions over complex ones.
- The ability to write clear, plain English in both your code comments and your communications with the team.
- Curiosity about how businesses work and a desire to see how technology can solve structural management issues.
- A reliable approach to remote work, including the ability to manage your own time and meet deadlines.
- A patient mindset when it comes to troubleshooting and fixing small errors.
- Comfort working in a team where the technical requirements are driven by practical consulting needs.
- Willingness to learn new tools or languages as the needs of our client projects change.
Helpful background - Basic familiarity with modern web development frameworks or static site generators.
- Experience with version control tools like Git.
- Prior experience with personal coding projects or school assignments that involved building functional websites.
- An understanding of how to make web pages accessible and responsive.
- Interest in data organization and how to present information clearly on a screen.
- Experience working in a collaborative environment, even if in a different field or through volunteer work.
What we offer
This is a fully remote position that provides the flexibility to work from a location that suits you. We provide a supportive environment where you can grow your technical skills while learning about the inner workings of corporate management. The position is paid, and the compensation is competitive for an entry-level role in today's market. You will have the chance to see your work used immediately by clients to solve real operational problems. We value steady, quiet work and provide the tools you need to stay connected with the team without the need for constant meetings.
About Olive Tree
Olive Tree Consulting Group is a focused advisory practice that helps leadership teams solve recurring management issues. We typically work on the space between strategy and daily execution. A team can have very capable people and still find that decisions keep reopening, priorities stall, or responsibility remains unclear. These are rarely personality problems: they are structural habits that have not kept up with the company's growth.
We favor practical changes over large-scale transformation programs. Our work involves looking at how decisions are made, how meetings are run, and how ownership is recorded. We prefer useful written notes and clear ownership over polished presentations and vague alignment. Good advisory work should make things plainer and leave the team with a rhythm they can continue on their own.
The firm is built on the principle that memory is not a management system. We help teams create the smallest possible written record to support their work so that important follow-up does not depend on who was in the room or who has the best memory. The goal is a quieter management pattern that makes the existing work easier to lead.
