We are currently seeking an experienced
Mechanical Engineer to join our team in
AlUla and support the delivery of a major construction project.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor mechanical construction activities throughout all project phases.
- Review mechanical design drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, mechanical codes, standards, quality requirements, and safety regulations.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor mechanical installations to ensure adherence to approved designs.
- Supervise works related to HVAC systems, plumbing, fire protection systems, and other mechanical services.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
- Monitor and inspect the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
- Provide technical guidance and resolve site-related mechanical issues.
- Ensure implementation of quality control procedures and project standards.
- Prepare inspection reports, technical documentation, and progress reports.
- Support project teams in achieving project schedules, quality objectives, and operational requirements.
- Coordinate and supervise onsite activities to ensure efficient project delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in construction and engineering projects.
- Previous experience working with Project Management Consultancy (PMC) organizations is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and mechanical building systems.
- Solid understanding of mechanical codes, standards, quality control, and safety requirements.
- Experience in reviewing design documentation, shop drawings, and technical submittals.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, site-based environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant engineering software.
