نبذة عن الوظيفة

  • تبحث شركة Tuwaiq Casting & Forging عن مهندس نمذجة ثلاثية الأبعاد ذو خبرة عالية لقيادة فريق التصميم الهندسي. سيعمل المهندس تحت إشراف رئيس قسم التصميم الهندسي، ويكون مسؤولاً عن إنشاء والتحكم في النماذج ثلاثية الأبعاد، ورسومات التصنيع، ومخرجات التصميم الفني اللازمة للإنتاج، والأدوات، والدعم الهندسي. سيشرف المهندس على رسامي 2D وموظفي ERP/MES/DMS، مع ضمان تقديم مخرجات تصميم دقيقة وفي الوقت المناسب وموثقة بشكل جيد بما يتوافق مع معايير الشركة ومتطلبات العملاء.

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • الإشراف على عمل رسامي 2D وموظفي ERP/MES/DMS وتوجيههم لضمان جودة مخرجات التصميم وتسليمها في الوقت المحدد.
  • توزيع المهام ومراقبة الأداء وتقديم التوجيه الفني والإرشاد لأعضاء فريق التصميم.
  • تنسيق أنشطة التصميم مع رئيس قسم التصميم الهندسي والتواصل مع فرق الهندسة التشغيلية وإدارة المنتجات.
  • إعداد النماذج ثلاثية الأبعاد والرسومات التفصيلية بناءً على مدخلات التصميم والمعايير المطبقة.
  • تطبيق التسامحات والبدلات والتسامحات الهندسية (GD&T) وإجراءات التحكم في المراجعات.
  • دعم متطلبات الأنماط والصب والتشكيل والتصنيع ضمن نماذج التصميم.
  • التنسيق مع مهندسي العمليات لضمان قابلية تصنيع التصاميم.
  • المحافظة على سجل الرسومات وقاعدة بيانات التصميم.
  • مراجعة النماذج والرسومات بناءً على طلبات التغيير المعتمدة.
  • دعم الاستفسارات الفنية للعملاء والداخلية.
  • إجراء المراجعة الفنية لرسومات العملاء ونماذج 3D.
  • إنشاء تصاميم 2D و3D لأنماط وأغراض المحاكاة باستخدام برامج النمذجة ثلاثية الأبعاد.
  • حضور الاجتماعات الدورية مع فرق الإنتاج ومديري الوظائف والمهندسين لتوصيل تعليمات العمل (WI) وصحائف عمليات التصنيع (MPS).
  • حل المشكلات والتحسين المستمر لعملية التصميم.
  • الالتزام بمتطلبات الصحة والسلامة والبيئة (EHS) الخاصة بمكتب التصميم.
  • دعم الحصول على الشهادات والمؤهلات المطلوبة.
  • تحديد فرص تحسين العمليات لزيادة الكفاءة والإنتاجية وفعالية التكلفة.
  • تنفيذ تقنيات أو تقنيات جديدة أو ترقيات للمعدات لتحسين عمليات التصميم والتصنيع.
  • الحفاظ على سجلات دقيقة لجميع مخرجات التصميم.
  • الإشراف على موظف ERP/MES/DMS لضمان صيانة دقيقة لبيانات التصميم وسجلات الرسومات والتحكم في الوثائق ضمن أنظمة الشركة.
  • تقديم الدعم الفني لإنشاء وثائق المنتج عبر مواقع المصنع ومراجعة الوثائق المُنتجة.
  • دعم مراجعة جدوى التصنيع للعناصر المستهدفة لتقديرات المبيعات.
  • المساعدة في مراجعة وتصميم عمليات الإنتاج للمنتجات المسعّرة لتلبية المتطلبات الفنية للعملاء.
  • أداء أي مسؤوليات أخرى تُطلب من قبل الشركة.

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة الميكانيكية أو التصنيع أو الصناعية.
  • خبرة لا تقل عن 5 سنوات في النمذجة ثلاثية الأبعاد (3D modeling) وتصميم CAD والرسم الفني في بيئة الصب أو التشكيل أو التصنيع الثقيل، مع خبرة سابقة في دور إشرافي أو قيادي لفريق.
  • فهم قوي لعمليات الصب والتشكيل والتصنيع والمعالجة الحرارية وتأثيراتها على التصميم.
  • خبرة مثبتة في تصميم الأجزاء الكبيرة التي يزيد وزنها عن 20 طن.

المهارات المطلوبة

  • مهارات قوية في استخدام برامج SolidWorks وANSYS وAutoCAD للتصميم ثلاثي وثنائي الأبعاد.
  • فهم متعمق للتسامحات الهندسية (GD&T) للمكونات الكبيرة الحجم.
  • الإلمام بأنظمة ERP وMES وDMS لإدارة التصميم والوثائق.
  • مهارات ممتازة في حل المشكلات مع اهتمام كبير بالتفاصيل.
  • معرفة لوائح السلامة وأفضل الممارسات في البيئات الصناعية.
  • الإلمام بمعايير معهد البترول الأمريكي (API) وتطبيقها في تصميم الصب والتشكيل (ميزة إضافية).

Description

Tuwaiq Casting & Forging is seeking a skilled and experienced 3D Modeling Engineer to lead the Design Engineering team. Reporting to the Head of Design Engineering, this role is responsible for creating and controlling 3D models, manufacturing drawings, and technical design outputs required for production, tooling, and engineering support. The Engineer will supervise the 2D Draftsman/CAD and ERP/MES/DMS Officer, ensuring accurate, timely, and well-documented design deliverables aligned with company standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Supervision

  • Supervise and direct the work of the 2D Draftsman/CAD and ERP/MES/DMS Officer to ensure quality and timely delivery of design outputs.
  • Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide technical guidance and mentoring to design team members.
  • Coordinate design activities with the Head of Design Engineering and interface with Process Engineering and Product Management teams.

Technical Operations

  • Prepare 3D models and detail drawings based on design inputs and applicable standards.
  • Apply correct tolerances, allowances, GD&T, and revision control procedures.
  • Support pattern, casting, forging, and machining requirements within design models.
  • Coordinate with process engineers to ensure manufacturability of designs.
  • Maintain the drawing register and design database.
  • Revise models and drawings based on approved change requests.
  • Support customer and internal technical clarifications.
  • Conduct technical review of customer drawings and 3D models.
  • Create 2D and 3D designs for patterns and simulation purposes using 3D modeling software.
  • Attend regular meetings with production teams, job managers, and engineers to communicate Work Instructions (WI) and Manufacturing Process Sheets (MPS).
  • Troubleshoot and drive continuous improvement of the design process.

Quality

  • Adhere to EHS requirements applicable to the design office.
  • Support the acquisition of required certifications and qualifications.

Process Optimization

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Implement new techniques, technologies, or equipment upgrades to improve design and machining processes.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of all design outputs.
  • Oversee the ERP/MES/DMS Officer to ensure accurate maintenance of design data, drawing registers, and document control within the company's ERP, MES, and DMS systems.
  • Provide technical support for product documentation creation across factory sites and review produced documentation.

Sales Technical Support

  • Support the review of manufacturing feasibility for items targeted for sales estimation.
  • Assist in reviewing and designing production processes for quoted products to meet customer technical requirements.
  • Fulfil any other responsibilities as required by the company.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in 3D modeling, CAD design, and technical drafting within a casting, forging, or heavy manufacturing environment, including prior experience in a supervisory or team lead role.
  • Strong understanding of casting, forging, machining, and heat treatment operations and their design implications.
  • Demonstrated experience with large-part design involving components of 20 tons and above.

Technical Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of 3D and 2D software including SolidWorks, ANSYS, and AutoCAD.
  • Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) for large-scale components.
  • Familiarity with ERP, MES, and DMS systems for design and document management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in industrial environments.
  • Awareness of American Petroleum Institute (API) standards and their application to casting and forging design is advantageous.
