Role Description The Project Controller is a full-time, on-site role based in Dammam, responsible for overseeing financial and schedule performance across multiple projects. This role monitors project budgets, costs, and cash flow, prepares forecasts and variance reports, and supports accurate billing and revenue recognition. The Project Controller collaborates closely with project managers, engineering, procurement, and site teams to ensure alignment between project plans, financial data, and contractual obligations. Daily tasks include maintaining project cost controls, updating progress reports, tracking change orders, verifying supplier and subcontractor invoices, and supporting compliance with internal policies and client requirements. The role also contributes to risk analysis, supports audits, and helps improve project control processes and tools to enable timely, data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong project financial control skills, including budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Candidates should possess skills in project scheduling and coordination, such as using planning tools, tracking milestones, and monitoring progress against timelines.
• Candidates should possess proficiency with spreadsheets and ERP or project management systems, and be comfortable working with large data sets and reports.
• Candidates should possess skills in stakeholder communication, including clear reporting to project teams and management and the ability to present complex information in a structured way.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of contracting and procurement processes, including purchase orders, invoices, change orders, and basic contract terms.
• Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work accurately under time pressure.
• Relevant experience in project controls, finance, or administration within engineering, construction, or technical services environments is preferred.
• A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, engineering, business, or a related field is advantageous; professional certifications in project management or project controls are a plus.
• Ability to work on-site in Dammam, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and maintain high standards of integrity, accountability, and confidentiality.
