تتولى شركة WSP في الشرق الأوسط التعيين لشغل وظيفة كبير مهندسي الجسور (Senior Bridge Engineer) في الرياض، المملكة العربية السعودية. يشرف هذا الدور على مراجعة التصميم والإشراف على الإنشاء والتفتيش والامتثال الفني لأعمال الجسور والهياكل ضمن مشاريع الطرق والطرق السريعة الكبرى في الرياض، مع ضمان الالتزام بأعلى معايير السلامة والجودة.
المهام والمسؤوليات
- مراجعة التصميم والإشراف الفني: مراجعة تصاميم الجسور والمخططات التفصيلية ووثائق البناء المقدمة من المقاولين، وضمان الامتثال للمواصفات والمعايير المحلية والدولية (مثل AASHTO وBS وEurocodes ومعايير السعودية)، وتقييم تعديلات التصميم وبدائل الهندسة القيمية، وتقديم التوجيه الفني.
- الإشراف على الإنشاء: الإشراف على أنشطة البناء المتعلقة بالجسور والجسور العلوية والتقاطعات الحرة والأنفاق السفلية والجدران الاستنادية والمجاري والمنشآت المرتبطة، ومراقبة منهجيات البناء لضمان السلامة الهيكلية، والتحقق من الامتثال للرسومات والمواصفات المعتمدة، وحل المشكلات الفنية في الموقع.
- التفتيش وضمان الجودة: إجراء تفتيشات دورية للموقع وتقييمات هيكلية، ومشاهدة اختبارات المواد واختبارات تحميل الأكوام وأعمال الخرسانة وأنشطة الشد اللاحق والتركيبات الهيكلية، ومراجعة خطط التفتيش والاختبار (ITPs) وبيانات الطرق وسجلات الجودة، وضمان تطبيق إجراءات ضمان الجودة ومراقبة الجودة.
- التنسيق مع المشروع: التنسيق مع مهندسي الإقامة ومهندسي الطرق والمقاولين وفرق المرافق وممثلي العميل، والمشاركة في الاجتماعات الفنية وجلسات مراجعة التقدم، والتواصل مع فرق التصميم لحل تحديات الهندسة والإنشاء، ودعم تسليم المشروع بضمان بقاء الأنشطة الهيكلية ضمن الجدول الزمني.
- الامتثال للصحة والسلامة والبيئة: تعزيز وتطبيق متطلبات الصحة والسلامة والبيئة في المشروع، وضمان امتثال أنشطة بناء الجسور للوائح السلامة والإجراءات المعتمدة، وتحديد مخاطر البناء المحتملة والتوصية بإجراءات التخفيف.
- مراقبة التقدم وإعداد التقارير: مراقبة تقدم أعمال الجسور مقابل الجداول الزمنية للمشروع، وإعداد تقارير فنية أسبوعية وشهرية، وإبراز التأخيرات والمخاوف الفنية التي تؤثر على تسليم المشروع، وتقديم توصيات للتدابير التصحيحية وتحسينات البناء.
- دعم إدارة العقود: مراجعة الجوانب الفنية للتغييرات والمطالبات وطلبات المعلومات (RFIs)، ومساعدة الفرق التجارية والتعاقدية في التقييمات الفنية، ودعم مراجعة مستندات المقاولين وشهادات الدفع المتعلقة بأعمال الجسور.
الشروط والمتطلبات
- درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة المدنية مع تخصص في الهندسة الهيكلية أو هندسة الجسور (يفضل درجة الماجستير في الهندسة الهيكلية).
- شهادة مهندس محترف (PE) أو مهندس معتمد (CEng) أو ما يعادلها ميزة إضافية.
- خبرة لا تقل عن 15 عامًا في هندسة الجسور والهياكل.
- خبرة لا تقل عن 8 سنوات في مشاريع الطرق والطرق السريعة الكبرى.
- خبرة سابقة في أدوار الإشراف على الإنشاء الاستشارية.
- خبرة مثبتة مع الجسور والجسور العلوية والتقاطعات المفصولة والجسور الخرسانية والأنفاق السفلية والجدران الاستنادية.
- يفضل بشدة خبرة سابقة في دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي والمملكة العربية السعودية.
- يفضل خبرة في مشاريع البنية التحتية الكبرى التي تزيد قيمتها عن 500 مليون ريال سعودي.
المهارات المطلوبة
- معرفة قوية بمبادئ هندسة الجسور والتحليل الهيكلي.
- خبرة مع الهياكل الخرسانية المسلحة والخرسانة سابقة الإجهاد والجسور الفولاذية.
- الإلمام بمعايير AASHTO LRFD وEurocodes وBS Standards واللوائح السعودية.
- الكفاءة في استخدام برامج التحليل الهيكلي مثل MIDAS Civil وSAP2000 وSTAAD Pro وCSI Bridge أو ما يعادلها.
- معرفة بتقنيات تفتيش وصيانة وإعادة تأهيل الجسور.
- فهم الإجراءات التعاقدية لـ FIDIC.

Job Description

Responsibilities
Design Review & Technical Oversight
- Review and comment on bridge designs, shop drawings, and construction documents submitted by contractors.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, design criteria, AASHTO, BS, Eurocodes, and relevant Saudi standards.
- Evaluate design modifications and value engineering proposals.
- Provide technical guidance on structural and bridge engineering issues.
- Supervise construction activities related to bridges, flyovers, interchanges, underpasses, retaining walls, culverts, and associated structures.
- Monitor construction methodologies and sequencing to ensure structural integrity and safety.
- Verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Ensure timely resolution of site technical issues.
- Conduct regular site inspections and structural assessments.
- Witness material testing, pile load tests, concrete works, post-tensioning activities, and structural installations.
- Review inspection and test plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality records.
- Ensure implementation of quality assurance and quality control procedures.
- Coordinate with Resident Engineers, Highway Engineers, Contractors, Utility Teams, and Client representatives.
- Participate in technical meetings and progress review sessions.
- Interface with design teams to resolve engineering and construction challenges.
- Support project delivery by ensuring structural activities remain on schedule.
- Promote and enforce project HSE requirements.
- Ensure bridge construction activities comply with safety regulations and approved procedures.
- Identify potential construction risks and recommend mitigation measures.
- Monitor progress of bridge works against project schedules.
- Prepare weekly and monthly technical reports.
- Highlight delays, risks, and technical concerns affecting project delivery.
- Provide recommendations for remedial measures and construction improvements.
- Review technical aspects of variations, claims, and Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Assist commercial and contract teams with technical evaluations.
- Support the review of contractor submissions and payment certifications related to bridge works.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with specialization in Structural or Bridge Engineering.
- Master's Degree in Structural Engineering is preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE), Chartered Engineer (CEng), or equivalent certification is an advantage.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in bridge and structural engineering.
- At least 8 years of experience on major Roads & Highways infrastructure projects.
- Previous experience in construction supervision consultancy roles.
- Proven experience with bridges, flyovers, grade-separated interchanges, viaducts, underpasses, and retaining structures.
- GCC and Saudi Arabia project experience is highly preferred.
- Experience on large-scale infrastructure projects valued above SAR 500 million is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of bridge engineering principles and structural analysis.
- Experience with reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, and steel bridge structures.
- Familiarity with AASHTO LRFD, Eurocodes, BS Standards, and Saudi regulations.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software such as MIDAS Civil, SAP2000, STAAD Pro, CSI Bridge, or similar.
- Knowledge of bridge inspection, maintenance, and rehabilitation techniques.
- Understanding of FIDIC contractual procedures.
