Senior Mechanical Engineer- Data Centre

تسعى شركة WSP في الشرق الأوسط إلى التعاقد مع مهندس ميكانيكي أول للعمل على مشروع مركز بيانات رئيسي يقع شرق الرياض. ستكون مسؤولاً عن الإشراف على أعمال التصميم الميكانيكي والتركيب والتشغيل، وضمان توافق جميع الأعمال مع مواصفات المشروع والمعايير الدولية ومتطلبات العميل.
المهام والمسؤوليات
- الإشراف على الأعمال الميكانيكية بما في ذلك أنظمة التدفئة والتهوية وتكييف الهواء (HVAC)، وأنظمة المياه المبردة، والسباكة، والحماية من الحريق، والمرافق المرتبطة بها.
- مراجعة وإدارة رسومات التصميم الميكانيكي والحسابات والمستندات الفنية المقدمة.
- التنسيق مع المقاولين والاستشاريين والتخصصات الهندسية الأخرى.
- مراقبة أعمال التركيب في الموقع لضمان الامتثال للرسومات المعتمدة والمواصفات ومعايير الجودة.
- دعم اختبار وتشغيل وتسليم الأنظمة الميكانيكية.
- تحديد وحل المشكلات الفنية وتحديات التنسيق في الموقع.
- ضمان الالتزام بالجداول الزمنية للمشروع ومتطلبات السلامة وأهداف الجودة.
- إعداد التقارير الفنية وتقديم الدعم الهندسي لفريق المشروع.
الشروط والمتطلبات
- خبرة لا تقل عن 12 عامًا مع مسؤولية على مستوى أول في مشاريع إنشائية واسعة النطاق.
- التسجيل في الهيئة السعودية للمهندسين (SCE) - شرط إلزامي.
- خبرة في مراكز البيانات أو المنشآت الصناعية أو المنشآت الحيوية ذات المتطلبات الحرجة (mission‑critical facilities) - يفضل بشكل كبير.
- معرفة قوية بالأنظمة الميكانيكية ذات الصلة بمراكز البيانات (HVAC، التبريد، الحماية من الحريق، إلخ).
- الإلمام بالمعايير والكودات الدولية (ASHRAE، NFPA، إلخ).
- مهارات قوية في التنسيق والقيادة والتواصل.
- القدرة على العمل بفعالية في بيئة موقع سريعة الخطى.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a major data centre project located east of Riyadh. The role will be responsible for overseeing mechanical design, installation, and commissioning activities, ensuring all works meet project specifications, international standards, and client requirements.
Responsibilities
- Oversee mechanical works including HVAC, chilled water systems, plumbing, fire protection, and associated utilities
- Review and manage mechanical design drawings, calculations, and technical submittals
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and other engineering disciplines
- Monitor site installation works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards
- Support testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems
- Identify and resolve technical issues and site coordination challenges
- Ensure adherence to project schedules, safety requirements, and quality objectives
- Prepare technical reports and provide engineering support to the project team
- Minimum 12+ years of experience, with proven senior-level responsibility on large-scale construction projects
- Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration - mandatory
- Experience on data centre, industrial, or mission‑critical facilities is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems relevant to data centres (HVAC, cooling, fire protection, etc.)
- Familiarity with international codes and standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, etc.)
- Strong coordination, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced site environment
