نبذة عن الوظيفة
يهدف الدور إلى تعظيم قيمة منتجات الشركة من خلال التواصل العلمي عالي الجودة مع الأخصائيين الرائدين على أساس ندّي (peer-to-peer). سيكون المسؤول العلمي الطبي خبيراً علمياً في مجال أورام الجهاز البولي التناسلي (سرطان البروستاتا والمثانة)، مسؤولاً عن مناقشة منتجاتنا واتجاهات علاج المرضى والدراسات في المجالات العلاجية المعنية مع الجمهور المستهدف من الأخصائيين الرائدين (أطباء، صيادلة، مدراء مستشفيات، أعضاء مجالس الجمعيات العلمية، وغيرهم من الشركاء)، ليكون المرجع العلمي الموثوق.
المهام والمسؤوليات
- مواكبة المعرفة الطبية والعلمية بشكل مستمر.
- تحديث المعرفة بالمنتجات واتجاهات علاج المرضى والأنشطة السريرية والدراسات في المنطقة العلاجية.
- تطوير وصيانة شبكة تواصل مع الأخصائيين الرائدين وفهم احتياجاتهم وقيمهم وأنماط العلاج.
- التواصل بقيمة منتجات الشركة بما في ذلك مناقشات الإدراج في الصيادات (formulary).
- تمثيل الفوائد الطبية للمنتجات والمساهمة في تعزيز الأساليب المبتكرة من خلال التفاعلات العلمية.
- تمثيل الشركة في الجمعيات المهنية في المجال العلاجي بالتعاون مع المستشار الطبي/القائد الطبي/المدير الطبي.
- التواصل المباشر والاستباقي للمعلومات العلمية حول منتجاتنا ضمن النشرة المعتمدة، والاستجابة للاستفسارات العلمية غير المطلوبة من العملاء.
- تنظيم والمشاركة في الأنشطة التعليمية الطبية: تحديد ودعم وتدريب المتحدثين، بناء برامج تعليمية مع أطراف علمية ثالثة، وتنظيم والمشاركة في المجالس الاستشارية بالتعاون مع الفريق الطبي.
- تقديم الدعم العلمي لمندوبي المبيعات: تدريبهم ودعمهم علمياً بالتنسيق مع إدارة التدريب، والعمل كمرجع علمي لهم.
- دعم تنفيذ دراسات الشؤون الطبية: المساعدة في إنشاء ومتابعة السجلات والدراسات غير التداخلية، واقتراح المحققين والمواقع، والمشاركة في إعداد اجتماعات المحققين ومتابعة التوظيف وعرض نتائج الدراسة.
- استقبال مقترحات المحققين للدراسات المستقلة (IIS) وضمان مناقشتها داخل قسم الشؤون الطبية.
- اكتساب رؤى حول أنماط العلاج والأنشطة العلمية وتقديم مدخلات لخطة الشؤون الطبية وصنع القرار التجاري.
- تحقيق مقاييس الأداء الرئيسية (أهداف الأداء).
الشروط والمتطلبات
- درجة البكالوريوس في الصيدلة أو الطب (الدراسات العليا ميزة إضافية).
- خبرة سنتين في شركة أدوية متعددة الجنسيات (العمل كمسؤول علمي طبي سابقاً ميزة إضافية).
- الفطنة العلمية ومهارات التواصل لكي يكون مقبولاً من الأخصائيين الرائدين في علاقة ندية (peer-to-peer)، ويفضل أن يكون لديه خبرة في صناعة الأدوية.
- تركيز عالٍ على العملاء مع الوعي بأهمية النتائج التجارية.
- الإبداع والقدرة على التنسيق والقيادة في بيئة معقدة ومتغيرة.
- المرونة للسفر داخل المملكة العربية السعودية وقضاء 80% من الوقت في الميدان.
- معرفة عميقة بمجال الأورام، والقوة في البحث وتفسير البيانات الطبية.

- معرفة متعمقة بمجال الأورام والقدرة على البحث وتفسير البيانات الطبية.
- الفطنة العلمية والخبرة ذات الصلة للقبول من الأخصائيين الرائدين.

- الإبداع والقدرة على العمل في هيكل مصفوفي (matrix) وتنسيق وقيادة البيئة المعقدة والمتغيرة.

You Will Be Responsible For
- To keep abreast of medical and scientific knowledge.
- Continuously update their knowledge of products, patient’s treatment trends and clinical activities and studies conducted within the therapeutic area in their region.
- Development and maintenance of a contact network with Leading Specialists.
- Understands their needs, key value drivers, practical treatment patterns and scientific activities within the therapeutic area
- Communicates value of company products, incl. formulary discussions
- Through scientific interactions, champions medical benefits of products and contribute to fostering innovative approaches
- Represents the company within therapeutic area professional associations in cooperation with Medical Advisor/ Medical Lead/Medical Director
- Proactive and reactive communication of medical scientific data to Leading Specialists and broader external health-care-related audiences:
- Communicates directly and proactively scientific information of our products within the approved label
- Communicates non-promotional general information about our company, including description of research and development programs
- Responds to unsolicited scientific queries of customers for approved products and products/indications in development, based on Medical Affairs and Medical Information documents
- Organization and participation in Medical Education activities:
- Identify/support/educate speakers
- Build Medical Education programs with scientific third parties
- Organization and participation in Advisory Boards in cooperation with Medical Advisor/Medical Lead/Medical Director
- Provision of scientific support to company Sales Representative
- Provides medical and product training and scientific support to Sales Representatives in coordination with the Training Department as appropriate
- Acts as a reference point to Sales Representatives for any scientific query, in collaboration with Medical Information as appropriate
- Support Medical Affairs study execution
- Supports the set up and follow up of registries and other non-interventional Medical Affairs studies
- Propose investigators and sites for interventional and non-interventional Medical Affairs studies
- Participate in investigator meetings preparation, recruitment follow-up and study result presentation
- Receives investigator proposals for IIS and to ensure they are discussed within the Medical Affairs department for decision
- Through scientific interactions, gain valuable insight into treatment patterns, and scientific activities in the therapeutic area and provide input to the company Medical Affairs Plan / business decision-making
- Achieve main performance measures (Performance Goals)
- Pharmacists/Physician bachelor's degree, postgraduate studies is an advantage
- 2 years experience in multinational pharmaceutical company (working as medical science liaison is an advantage
- Scientific acumen and communication skills in order to be accepted by Leading Specialists in peer- to-peer relationship. Preferably with pharmaceutical industry experience
- Highly customer focused with an awareness of the importance of business results
- Innovative with the ability to coordinate and drive a complex and changing environment
- Excellent presentation & communication skills
- Flexible to travel within Saudi Arabia and to spend 80% of their time in the field
- Deep knowledge of the Oncology therapeutic area, strength in research and interpretation of medical data
- Relevant work experience & scientific acumen in order to be accepted by Leading Specialists in peer-to-peer relationship
- Awareness of business strategy and high customer focus with an understanding of the importance of business results
- Innovative, able to work in a matrix and coordinate and drive a complex and changing environment
