تعلن شركة Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine عن توفر وظيفة Medical Science Liaison - Hematology في الرياض، السعودية.

نبذة عن الوظيفة

يهدف هذا الدور إلى تعظيم قيمة منتجات الشركة من خلال التواصل العلمي عالي الجودة مع الأخصائيين الرائدين على أساس ندّي، وفقاً لخطة الشؤون الطبية. سيكون شاغل الوظيفة خبيراً علمياً في مجال أمراض الدم (Multiple Myeloma)، مسؤولاً عن مناقشة المنتجات واتجاهات علاج المرضى والدراسات مع الجمهور المستهدف من الأخصائيين (أطباء، صيادلة، مدراء مستشفيات، أعضاء مجالس الجمعيات العلمية وغيرهم)، ليكون مرجعاً علمياً موثوقاً.

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • مواكبة المعرفة الطبية والعلمية وتحديثها باستمرار فيما يخص المنتجات واتجاهات العلاج والأنشطة السريرية والدراسات عالمياً وإقليمياً.
  • بناء وصيانة شبكة تواصل مع الأخصائيين الرائدين، وفهم احتياجاتهم ومحركات القيمة وأنماط العلاج والأنشطة العلمية.
  • التواصل بقيمة منتجات الشركة بما في ذلك مناقشات الصيادلة (formulary).
  • المناصرة للنقاشات المبنية على الأدلة والمساهمة في تعزيز الأساليب المبتكرة من خلال التفاعلات العلمية.
  • تمثيل الشركة ضمن الجمعيات المهنية في مجال العلاج بالتنسيق مع المستشار الطبي/القائد الطبي/المدير الطبي.
  • التواصل الفاعل والاستباقي للبيانات العلمية الطبية مع الأخصائيين الرائدين والجماهير الخارجية المعنية بالرعاية الصحية، سواء ضمن النشرة المعتمدة أو استجابة للاستفسارات العلمية غير المطلوبة.
  • تنظيم والمشاركة في الأنشطة التعليمية الطبية بما في ذلك بناء برامج تعليمية مع أطراف ثالثة ودعم المتحدثين ببيانات علمية عالية الجودة.
  • تنظيم والمشاركة في المجالس الاستشارية (Advisory Boards) بالتنسيق مع المستشار الطبي/القائد الطبي/المدير الطبي.
  • تقديم الدعم العلمي لمندوبي المبيعات من خلال التدريب والإجابة على الاستفسارات العلمية.
  • دعم تنفيذ دراسات الشؤون الطبية، بما في ذلك إعداد وتتبع السجلات والدراسات غير التداخلية، واقتراح المحققين والمواقع، والمشاركة في تحضير اجتماعات المحققين ومتابعة التوظيف وعرض النتائج، وتلقي مقترحات الدراسات المستقلة (IIS) ومناقشتها مع قسم الشؤون الطبية.

الشروط والمتطلبات

We are searching for the best talent for the Medical Science Liaison - Hematology role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Purpose

  • To maximize company product value through high scientific quality communication with Leading Specialists on a peer-to-peer basis. Through activities in line with the Medical Affairs Plan, the MSL is jointly responsible for the realization of short-term and long-term company goals.
  • To be a therapeutic area scientific expert in Multiple Myeloma, responsible for discussing our products, patients’ treatment trends and studies in the therapeutic areas in which we are involved, on a peer-to-peer basis with defined audience of Leading Specialists (Physicians, Pharmacists, Hospital Managers, Board Members of Scientific Societies, and other partners) and to be considered a trusted scientific counterpart.

You Will Be Responsible For

  • To keep abreast of medical and scientific knowledge.
    • Continuously update their knowledge of products, patient’s treatment trends and clinical activities and studies conducted within the therapeutic area globally and in their region.
  • Development and maintenance of a contact network with Leading Specialists.
    • Understands their needs, key value drivers, practical treatment patterns and scientific activities within the therapeutic area
    • Communicates value of company products, incl. formulary discussions
    • Through scientific interactions, champion evidence-based discussions and contribute to fostering innovative approaches
    • Represents the company within therapeutic area professional associations in cooperation with Medical Advisor/ Medical Lead/Medical Director
  • Proactive and reactive communication of medical scientific data to Leading Specialists and broader external health-care-related audiences:
    • Communicates directly and proactively scientific information of our products within the approved label
    • Communicates non-promotional general information about our company, including description of research and development programs
    • Responds to unsolicited scientific queries for approved products and products/indications in development, based on Medical Affairs and Medical Information documents
  • Organization and participation in Medical Education activities:
    • Build Medical Education programs with scientific third parties
    • Supports speakers with scientific data of highest quality for educational purposes
  • Organization and participation in Advisory Boards in cooperation with Medical Advisor/Medical Lead/Medical Director
  • Provision of scientific support to company Sales Representative
    • Provides medical and product training and scientific support to Sales Representatives in coordination with the Training Department as appropriate
    • Acts as a reference point to Sales Representatives for any scientific query, in collaboration with Medical Information as appropriate
  • Support Medical Affairs study execution
    • Supports the set up and follow up of registries and other non-interventional Medical Affairs studies
    • Propose investigators and sites for interventional and non-interventional Medical Affairs studies
    • Participate in investigator meetings preparation, recruitment follow-up and study result presentation
    • Receives investigator proposals for IIS and to ensure they are discussed within the Medical Affairs department for decision
  • Through scientific interactions, gain valuable insight into treatment patterns, and scientific activities in the therapeutic area and provide input to the company Medical Affairs Plan / business decision-making
  • Achieve main performance measures (Performance Goals) to drive medical data dissemination, educational and data generation initiatives
Qualifications

  • Pharmacists/Physician bachelor's degree, postgraduate studies is an advantage
  • 2 years experience preferably within multinational pharmaceutical company (working as medical science liaison is an advantage)
  • Scientific acumen and communication skills in order to be accepted by Leading Specialists in peer- to-peer relationship.
  • Highly customer focused with an awareness of the importance of business results
  • Innovative with the ability to coordinate and drive a complex and changing environment

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Excellent presentation & communication skills
  • Flexible to travel and to spend 80% of their time in interactions with experts
  • Deep knowledge of the hematology therapeutic area, strength in research and interpretation of medical data
  • Relevant work experience & scientific acumen in order to be accepted by Leading Specialists in peer-to-peer relationship
  • Awareness of business strategy and high customer focus with an understanding of the importance of business results
  • Innovative, able to work in a matrix and coordinate and drive a complex and changing environment
