تعلن شركة AtkinsRéalis عبر موقع وظائف سعودي عن توفر وظيفة مهندس موقع - إنشائي (Field Engineer - Structural) في منطقة الرياض، للعمل ضمن فريق الإشراف على مشاريع بناء واسعة النطاق تشمل المباني والمنتجعات، وذلك لضمان الامتثال للتصاميم والمواصفات والمعايير.

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • الإشراف على أعمال الإنشاءات الهيكلية بما في ذلك الأساسات، الجدران الاستنادية، أعمال الخرسانة، الهياكل الفولاذية، والإطارات الإنشائية.
  • التحقق من تنفيذ الأنشطة الإنشائية وفق المنهجيات المعتمدة ومتطلبات الجودة.
  • مراقبة الجودة في الموقع والتأكد من مطابقة المشغولات للمواصفات والمعايير.
  • المعاينة الميدانية للأعمال الهيكلية قبل صب الخرسانة وبعدها، وحضور اختبارات المواد.
  • مراجعة المخططات التنفيذية (shop drawings) والمستندات الفنية للمقاولين والتأكد من مطابقتها للتصميم.
  • التنسيق مع المهندسين المعماريين ومهندسي MEP ومساحي الكميات وفرق البناء لحل مشاكل التداخل.
  • تقييم طلبات المعلومات (RFIs) والاستفسارات الفنية واقتراح التعديلات التصميمية.
  • دعم مراجعة مقترحات القيمة الهندسية (value engineering) المتعلقة بالأنظمة الهيكلية.
  • ضمان تطبيق خطط الجودة وخطط الفحص والاختبار (ITP) للأعمال الهيكلية.
  • رصد حالات عدم المطابقة والتأكد من تنفيذ الإجراءات التصحيحية وإغلاقها.
  • إعداد تقارير يومية وأسبوعية وشهرية عن تقدم الأعمال والامتثال.
  • حضور اجتماعات التقدم الفني والتنسيق مع العميل والمقاولين والاستشاريين.
  • المحافظة على السجلات الهندسية للأعمال الهيكلية وتحديثها.

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة المدنية تخصص الهندسة الإنشائية أو ما يعادله.
  • يفضل درجة الماجستير في الهندسة الإنشائية.
  • يُستحسن أن يكون المرشح حاصلاً على تسجيل مهني (PE) أو عضوية في مؤسسة هندسية معترف بها.
  • الشهادات الإضافية في التصميم الإنشائي أو الإشراف على الإنشاءات أو إدارة المشاريع تعتبر ميزة.
  • خبرة مهنية لا تقل عن 8-12 سنة في الهندسة الإنشائية والإشراف على الإنشاءات.
  • خبرة لا تقل عن 5 سنوات في مشاريع الإشراف الموقعي (Site Supervision) على مشاريع المباني الكبرى.
  • خبرة مثبتة في المباني واسعة النطاق، مراكز المؤتمرات، الفنادق، المنتجعات، والمشاريع متعددة الاستخدامات.
  • خبرة قوية في الخرسانة المسلحة، الهياكل الفولاذية، الأساسات، والأنظمة الهيكلية للمباني.
  • يفضل خبرة سابقة في دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي، خاصة داخل المملكة العربية السعودية.

Overview

The Field Structural Engineer will be responsible for monitoring and supervising structural construction activities to ensure compliance with approved designs, project specifications, contractual requirements, and applicable codes and standards. The role will support the successful delivery of large-scale building and hospitality developments by ensuring structural integrity, construction quality, safety, and adherence to project schedules.

Your role

Construction Supervision

  • Inspect structural works including foundations, retaining structures, concrete works, steel structures, and building frameworks.
  • Verify that construction activities are executed in accordance with approved construction methodologies and quality requirements.
  • Monitor site activities to ensure workmanship meets project specifications and industry standards.
  • Witness inspections and testing activities related to structural materials and completed works.
  • Ensure timely identification and resolution of structural construction issues.

Technical Review and Coordination

  • Review structural shop drawings, material submissions, and contractor technical proposals for compliance with design intent.
  • Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, quantity surveyors, and construction teams to address design and construction interfaces.
  • Evaluate requests for information, technical queries, and proposed design modifications related to structural works.
  • Support review and assessment of value engineering proposals affecting structural systems.
  • Provide technical recommendations and solutions to site-related structural challenges.

Quality Assurance and Compliance

  • Ensure structural construction activities comply with project quality plans, specifications, and approved procedures.
  • Verify the quality of construction materials through review of test reports and inspection records.
  • Monitor implementation of inspection and test plans for structural works.
  • Identify non-conformities and ensure corrective actions are implemented and properly closed out.
  • Support quality audits and compliance reviews related to structural construction activities.

Site Inspection and Monitoring

  • Conduct regular site inspections to assess construction progress, workmanship quality, and compliance with approved designs.
  • Monitor contractor adherence to approved work sequences and construction methodologies.
  • Verify installation and execution of structural elements prior to concrete pours and subsequent construction activities.
  • Ensure site records accurately reflect completed structural works and inspection outcomes.
  • Assist in monitoring construction schedules and reporting progress against project milestones.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Liaise with Client representatives, contractors, consultants, and project management teams on structural engineering matters.
  • Participate in construction progress meetings and technical coordination meetings.
  • Support the resolution of structural issues raised by contractors and project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate inspections with quality, HSE, and testing teams to ensure compliance requirements are achieved.
  • Maintain effective communication with all project participants regarding structural works progress and performance.

Reporting and Documentation

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on structural construction progress and compliance activities.
  • Maintain records of inspections, testing results, site observations, and technical reviews.
  • Review contractor reports and verify accuracy of structural work progress and quality data.
  • Document non-conformance reports, corrective actions, and technical recommendations.
  • Ensure all structural engineering records are properly maintained and available for project audits and reviews.

Qualifications

About you

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Master's Degree in Structural Engineering is preferred.
  • Professional Engineering registration or equivalent professional accreditation is desirable.
  • Membership in a recognized engineering institution is preferred.
  • Additional certifications related to structural design, construction supervision, or project management are advantageous.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 8-12 years of professional experience in structural engineering and construction supervision.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience on site supervision consultancy projects involving major building developments.
  • Proven experience in large-scale buildings, convention centers, hotels, resorts, and mixed-use developments.
  • Strong experience in reinforced concrete, structural steel, foundations, and building structural systems.
  • Previous GCC experience, particularly within Saudi Arabia, is highly desirable.

Technical Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles, construction methodologies, and building systems.
  • Thorough understanding of international structural design codes, construction standards, and quality requirements.
  • Experience in reviewing shop drawings, material submittals, structural calculations, and technical documentation.
  • Knowledge of structural inspection procedures, testing requirements, and construction quality control practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and engineering software relevant to structural engineering.
