المهام والمسؤوليات
- قيادة والإشراف على العمليات اليومية لقسم الهندسة.
- ضمان التشغيل الفعال والصيانة والموثوقية لجميع مرافق الفندق ومعداته وأنظمته الهندسية.
- تطوير وتنفيذ برامج الصيانة الوقائية والتصحيحية لضمان الكفاءة التشغيلية وتقليل وقت تعطل المعدات.
- الإشراف على جميع أنظمة MEP بما في ذلك الأنظمة الميكانيكية والكهربائية والسباكة والتدفئة والتهوية وتكييف الهواء وأنظمة المباني الأخرى.
- ضمان الامتثال لمتطلبات الصحة والسلامة والحرائق والبيئة والتنظيمية.
- مراقبة والتحكم في استهلاك الطاقة والمياه والمرافق وتنفيذ مبادرات لتحسين الكفاءة وتقليل التكاليف التشغيلية.
- إعداد وإدارة الميزانية السنوية لقسم الهندسة والنفقات التشغيلية ومتطلبات النفقات الرأسمالية.
- التخطيط والإشراف على المشاريع الهندسية والتجديدات والترميمات والإصلاحات الكبرى.
- التنسيق الوثيق مع جميع أقسام الفندق لمعالجة متطلبات الصيانة وضمان الحد الأدنى من الاضطراب للعمليات والضيوف.
- قيادة والإشراف وتدريب وتطوير أعضاء فريق الهندسة لضمان معايير فنية وتشغيلية عالية.
- إدارة المقاولين والاستشاريين ومقدمي الخدمات الخارجيين، وضمان إنجاز جميع الأعمال بأمان وكفاءة ووفقاً للمعايير المتفق عليها.
- ضمان الاستجابة السريعة لحالات الطوارئ الهندسية وأعطال المعدات ومشاكل الصيانة المتعلقة بالضيوف.
- الاحتفاظ بسجلات دقيقة لأنشطة الصيانة والتفتيش وأداء المعدات والمشاريع الهندسية.
- إجراء تفتيش منتظم لمرافق الفندق وتحديد المخاطر المحتملة والعيوب ومتطلبات الصيانة.
- ضمان تنفيذ جميع الأعمال الهندسية وفقاً لسياسات الشركة ومعايير العلامة التجارية واللوائح السعودية.
- تعزيز ثقافة السلامة والعمل الجماعي والتحسين المستمر والتميز التشغيلي داخل قسم الهندسة.
- تقديم تقارير منتظمة للمدير العام حول العمليات الهندسية والمشاريع وأنشطة الصيانة واستهلاك الطاقة وأداء القسم.

Job Purpose
The Director of Engineering is responsible for leading and managing the Engineering Department, ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation and maintenance of all hotel facilities, equipment, systems, and infrastructure in accordance with hotel standards, brand requirements, and applicable local regulations.

The Director of Engineering is responsible for leading and managing the Engineering Department, ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation and maintenance of all hotel facilities, equipment, systems, and infrastructure in accordance with hotel standards, brand requirements, and applicable local regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the daily operations of the Engineering Department.
- Ensure the efficient operation, maintenance, and reliability of all hotel facilities, equipment, and engineering systems.
- Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure operational efficiency and minimize equipment downtime.
- Oversee all MEP systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, fire, environmental, and statutory requirements.
- Monitor and control energy, water, and utility consumption and implement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Prepare and manage the Engineering Department’s annual budget, operating expenses, and capital expenditure requirements.
- Plan and oversee engineering projects, renovations, refurbishment, and major repairs.
- Coordinate closely with all hotel departments to address maintenance requirements and ensure minimal disruption to operations and guests.
- Lead, supervise, train, and develop Engineering team members to ensure high technical and operational standards.
- Manage contractors, consultants, and external service providers, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to agreed standards.
- Ensure prompt response to engineering emergencies, equipment breakdowns, and guest-related maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, equipment performance, and engineering projects.
- Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities and identify potential risks, defects, and maintenance requirements.
- Ensure all engineering works are carried out in accordance with company policies, brand standards, and Saudi Arabian regulations.
- Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, continuous improvement, and operational excellence within the Engineering Department.
- Provide regular reports to the General Manager on engineering operations, projects, maintenance activities, energy consumption, and departmental performance.
- Support the hotel’s sustainability and environmental initiatives and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
