تعلن شركة Ericsson عن توفر وظيفة BO Transmission Engineer في الرياض، للانضمام إلى فريق الدعم الفني لتشغيل وصيانة شبكات النقل والـ IP.

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • إجراء استكشاف الأخطاء وإصلاحها من المستوى الثاني عبر شبكات IP وشبكات النقل، بما في ذلك أجهزة التوجيه والمحوّلات وبيئات MPLS وعُقد النقل.
  • إدارة أنشطة الحوادث والمشكلات والتكوين للحفاظ على أداء الشبكة واستقرارها.
  • دعم التحقيقات في انقطاعات النقل وتدهور الخدمات.
  • تكوين وتركيب وصيانة وترقية أجهزة وخدمات الشبكة.
  • إجراء استقبال العُقد والتدقيق وتقييمات صحة الشبكة.
  • التعاون مع الفرق الميدانية وفرق الوصول والتشغيل والأطراف الثالثة لحل المشكلات المعقدة.
  • متابعة الأمور المتعلقة بتصميم النقل ودعم أنشطة التنفيذ.
  • فتح وإدارة التصعيد مع الدعم من المستوى الثالث عند الحاجة.
  • مراجعة والتحقق من تغييرات وأنشطة الشبكة المتعلقة بالنقل.
  • المشاركة في التحقيقات الفنية وجلسات التحليل ومبادرات التحسين المستمر.
  • العمل بنظام المناوبات (24/5) وتقديم الدعم عند الطلب خلال عطلات نهاية الأسبوع عند الحاجة.

المهارات المطلوبة

  • خبرة من 1 إلى 4 سنوات في تشغيل شبكات النقل أو الدعم أو استكشاف الأخطاء.
  • معرفة بمفاهيم وبروتوكولات شبكات IP.
  • خبرة مع أجهزة التوجيه والمحوّلات من Cisco.
  • خبرة في استكشاف أخطاء تقنيات النقل وعُقد الشبكة.
  • خبرة عملية مع حلول Ericsson للنقل مثل Mini-Link TN وMini-Link 6600 وMini-Link 6352 وR6000 وSIU/TCU (ميزة إضافية).
  • فهم عمليات التكوين والحوادث والمشكلات وإدارة التغيير.
  • خبرة في استخدام أدوات إدارة الشبكة والمراقبة.
  • يفضل وجود خبرة في قطاع الاتصالات.
  • معرفة أساسية بالبرمجة النصية أو خبرة في الأتمتة (ميزة إضافية).
  • يفضل الحصول على شهادات من Cisco و/أو Ericsson.
  • مهارات قوية في التحليل واستكشاف الأخطاء.
  • مهارات ممتازة في التواصل وإدارة أصحاب المصلحة.
  • القدرة على العمل بشكل مستقل، وإدارة أولويات متعددة، والأداء تحت الضغط.

About This Opportunity

We are looking for a BO Transmission Engineer to join our team and support the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of transmission and IP network infrastructure. You will play a key role in ensuring network performance and service availability through second-line technical support, network configuration, incident resolution, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

What You Will Do

  • Perform end-to-end second-line troubleshooting across IP and transmission networks, including routers, switches, MPLS environments, and transmission nodes.
  • Manage incident, problem, and configuration activities to maintain network performance and stability.
  • Support transmission-related outages and service degradation investigations.
  • Configure, install, maintain, and upgrade network devices and services.
  • Conduct node acceptance, audits, and network health assessments.
  • Collaborate with field, access, operations, and third-party teams to resolve complex issues.
  • Follow up on transmission design-related matters and support implementation activities.
  • Open and manage escalations with third-line support when required.
  • Review and verify transmission-related network changes and activities.
  • Participate in technical investigations, analysis sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work in a 24/5 shift environment and provide on-call support during weekends when required.

The Skills You Bring

  • 1 to 4 years of experience in transmission network operations, support, or troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of IP networking concepts and protocols.
  • Experience with Cisco routers and switches.
  • Experience troubleshooting transmission technologies and network nodes.
  • Hands-on experience with Ericsson transmission solutions such as Mini-Link TN, Mini-Link 6600, Mini-Link 6352, R6000, and SIU/TCU is an advantage.
  • Understanding of configuration, incident, problem, and change management processes.
  • Experience using network management and monitoring tools.
  • Telecom industry experience is preferred.
  • Basic scripting knowledge or automation experience is considered a plus.
  • Cisco and/or Ericsson networking certifications are preferred.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail, accountability, and customer-focused mindset.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, shift rotations, and on-call support when required.
  • A collaborative attitude with a passion for continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
