General Description of Role and Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and development of airport infrastructure projects from initiation through design and procurement.
• Develop and review electrical engineering designs, with a focus on Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) systems.
• Conduct site visits and assess existing infrastructure to define project requirements and scopes of work.
• Prepare and review electrical design drawings, technical specifications, calculations and engineering documentation.
• Develop technical scopes of work and RFPs for engineering consultants and contractors.
• Coordinate with airport operators, end users, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
• Review technical proposals and support technical evaluations and procurement activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable electrical standards, aviation safety requirements and relevant Saudi building codes.
• Consider airport operational constraints, construction sequencing and project phasing throughout project development.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for senior management.
• Comply with Hill International's applicable Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8-10 years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
• Proven experience in MV/LV electrical systems design is essential.
• Previous experience working on airport infrastructure projects is essential.
• Strong understanding of electrical power distribution systems and airport infrastructure.
• Experience in electrical design reviews, technical specifications and scope development.
• Knowledge of applicable international electrical standards, aviation requirements and Saudi building codes.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong technical writing, communication and stakeholder management skills.
