تعلن شركة KBR, Inc. عن فرصة لشغل وظيفة Principal Structural Design Engineer - Offshore (مهندس تصميم إنشائي رئيسي - منشآت بحرية) في مدينة الخبر بالمنطقة الشرقية، المملكة العربية السعودية.

نبذة عن الوظيفة

يتولى المهندس الإنشائي البحري الأول قيادة تصميم المنشآت البحرية وتحليلها وتقييم سلامتها الإنشائية، ويشمل ذلك الـ jackets والـ topsides والمنشآت تحت البحر والأنظمة العائمة. يتضمن الدور ضمان الالتزام بمعايير Saudi Aramco والأكواد الدولية، والإشراف على المهندسين المبتدئين، ودعم الأنشطة الهندسية في جميع مراحل المشروع، بما فيها FEED والتصميم التفصيلي والتركيب وإيقاف التشغيل (decommissioning).

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • قيادة التصميم الإنشائي والتحليل الهندسي المتقدم للمنصات البحرية والأنظمة تحت البحر.
  • إجراء التحليلات الشاملة والموضعية، بما فيها in-place وloadout وlifting وfatigue وstrength وbuckling وearthquake analysis.
  • مراجعة الحسابات الإنشائية والمخططات ووثائق المشروع واعتمادها.
  • ضمان أن مخرجات الهندسة تلبي المتطلبات الفنية وميزانيات ساعات العمل (manhour budgets) والجداول الزمنية.
  • التنسيق مع الفرق متعددة التخصصات، ومنها هندسة الأنابيب والأجهزة والتحكم والميكانيكا والكهرباء والعمارة والخطوط البحرية والجيوتقنية.
  • تقديم الدعم الفني خلال أنشطة التصنيع والتركيب والإنشاء البحري.
  • تطوير وتنفيذ استراتيجيات إدارة السلامة الإنشائية للأصول القائمة (brownfield assets).
  • مراجعة معايير Saudi Aramco وأكواد التصميم (API RP 2A/2SIM وسلسلة ISO 19900 ومعايير DNV-GL) والتأكد من الالتزام بها.
  • توجيه المهندسين المبتدئين ومراجعة أعمالهم.
  • إجراء فحوصات أحادية التخصص (single discipline checks) على المخططات والوثائق.
  • إجراء فحوصات متعددة التخصصات (inter discipline checks) على المخططات والوثائق.

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • درجة البكالوريوس أو الماجستير في الهندسة المدنية أو الإنشائية.
  • خبرة لا تقل عن 10 سنوات في الهندسة الإنشائية البحرية.
  • مفضّل الحصول على شهادة Chartered Engineer أو Professional Engineer (CEng/PE).

المهارات المطلوبة

  • معرفة قوية بمعايير Saudi Aramco وأكواد التصميم الإنشائي البحري (API وDNV وISO).
  • إجادة أدوات التحليل الإنشائي، وهي SACS وStaad.Pro.
  • خبرة في FEED والهندسة التفصيلية وتعديلات الأصول القائمة (brownfield modifications).
  • فهم طرق الإنشاء والتركيب البحري.
  • مهارات قوية في التواصل والقيادة وكتابة التقارير الفنية.
  • القدرة على العمل باستقلالية وإدارة مهام متعددة في آن واحد.

Principal Structural Design Engineer - Offshore

Position Overview

The Senior Offshore Structural Engineer is responsible for leading the design, analysis, and integrity assessment of offshore structures

including jackets, topsides, subsea structures, and floating systems. The role involves ensuring compliance with Saudi Aramco Standards, international codes, supervising junior engineers, and supporting engineering activities through all project phases including FEED, detailed design, installation, and decommissioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead structural design and advanced engineering analysis for offshore platforms and subsea systems.
  • Perform global and local analyses including in-place, loadout, lifting, fatigue, strength, buckling, and earthquake analysis.
  • Review and approve structural calculations, drawings, and project documentation.
  • Ensure engineering deliverables meet technical requirements, manhour budgets, and schedules.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including piping, instrumentation, mechanical, electrical, architectural, pipelines, and geotechnical engineers.
  • Provide technical support during fabrication, installation, and offshore construction activities.
  • Develop and implement structural integrity management strategies for brownfield assets.
  • Review Saudi Aramco standards and design codes (API RP 2A/2SIM, ISO 19900 series, DNV-GL standards) and ensure compliance.
  • Mentor junior engineers and review their work.
  • Perform single disciple checks on drawings and documents.
  • Perform inter disciple checks on drawings and documents.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil/Structural Engineering.
  • 10+ years of offshore structural engineering experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Saudi Aramco standards and offshore structural design codes (API, DNV, ISO).
  • Proficiency in structural analysis tools (SACS and Staad.Pro).
  • Experience in FEED, detailed engineering, and brownfield modifications.
  • Understanding of offshore construction and installation methods.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and technical report-writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.

Certifications Preferred

  • Chartered Engineer / Professional Engineer (CEng/PE) preferred.
