ROLE SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced Field Architect with strong hands-on experience in residential construction and interior design execution. The role will act as the link between the Design Team and Contractor, ensuring that architectural and interior designs are correctly executed on site, identifying issues early and providing practical solutions. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working on site, dealing directly with contractors, reading drawings, checking BOQs and shop drawings, and taking ownership of issues through to resolution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor architectural and interior design execution on site.
• Ensure construction follows approved drawings, specifications, materials and design intent.
• Coordinate directly with contractors and subcontractors.
• Review architectural and interior shop drawings and technical submittals.
• Read and coordinate architectural, interior, structural and MEP drawings.
• Check site dimensions and existing conditions before execution/fabrication.
• Review BOQs, quantities, scope gaps and variations.
• Inspect materials, finishes, joinery, kitchens, wardrobes, bathrooms, ceilings, flooring and other interior fit-out works.
• Identify construction, design and coordination issues before they become critical.
• Investigate site problems and provide practical, buildable solutions to the Design Team.
• Coordinate approved solutions with the contractor and follow them through to completion.
• Maintain design quality and ensure the approved design intent is protected during construction.
• Prepare site observations, issue logs, photographs and snagging reports.
• Support final inspections, snagging and handover.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong experience in residential projects, preferably compounds, villas or large-scale residential developments.
• Strong hands-on construction site experience.
• Proven experience in interior fit-out and design execution.
• Strong contractor and subcontractor coordination experience.
• Good knowledge of architectural and interior materials, finishes and construction methods.
• Ability to read drawings, details, shop drawings and BOQs independently.
• Strong understanding of joinery, kitchens, wardrobes, bathrooms, ceilings and finishes.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly with both contractors and the Design Team.
• AutoCAD proficiency required; Revit/Navisworks is an advantage.
• Saudi/GCC construction experience is preferred.
