Job Purpose

The IT Network Engineer is responsible for implementing, maintaining, troubleshooting and optimizing the Company’s network infrastructure across offices, branches and operational locations.

Key Responsibilities

·        Manage LAN/WAN infrastructure across Company locations.

·        Configure and maintain switches, routers, firewalls and wireless infrastructure.

·        Monitor network availability, performance and capacity.

·        Troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues.

·        Implement network security controls and segmentation.

·        Manage VPN connectivity between branches and corporate locations.

·        Support network infrastructure projects and new site implementations.

·        Maintain network diagrams, configurations and technical documentation.

·        Monitor network capacity and recommend infrastructure improvements.

·        Coordinate with telecom providers and technology vendors.

·        Support business continuity and disaster recovery requirements.

·        Ensure network infrastructure meets performance, availability and security standards.

·        Participate in IT infrastructure and digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

Mandatory:

·        Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking or a related field.

·        3-5 years of relevant network engineering experience.

·        Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, routing and switching.

·        Practical experience with enterprise network environments.

·        Strong troubleshooting skills.

Preferred:

·        Cisco enterprise networking experience.

·        Experience with Fortinet, Palo Alto or similar technologies.

·        Experience supporting multi-site environments.

Preferred Certifications:

·        CCNA

·        CCNP

·        Fortinet certifications

·        Network+
