تعلن شركة International Maritime Industries عن توفر وظيفة Senior Assistant, Technician - Touch-up Painting في الشرقية (رأس الخير)، المملكة العربية السعودية.
نبذة عن الوظيفة
يقوم شاغل هذه الوظيفة بأعمال الدهان اللمسي الخارجي باستخدام الرولات والفرش بعد تجهيز السطح في مرحلتي P.E و Dock للسفن الجديدة، بالإضافة إلى أعمال التغطية لمنع التلوث وأعمال التنظيف المرتبطة بها. مطلوب خبرة في السفع والدهان. يعمل المرشح بشكل وثيق مع مدير الإنتاج والمهندسين والمشرفين لضمان تنفيذ جميع المشاريع الموكلة بأمان وفي الوقت المحدد وضمن الميزانية وفقاً للعقد ونظام الإدارة في الشركة (IMIMS). كما يتعاون مع الأقسام الأخرى ويبلغ النتائج والمخاوف لفريق إدارة الإنتاج. يجب أن يكون مستعداً للعمل تحت الضغط وقيادة الفريق لإنجاز المهام في جداول زمنية ضيقة، كما يجب أن يكون مستعداً للتدرب على مهام أخرى غير السفع عند الحاجة.
المهام والمسؤوليات
- ضمان الاستخدام الصحيح للرولات والفرش لتطبيق أنواع مختلفة من الدهان على الأسطح.
- ضمان التحكم السليم بمحرك خلط الدهان.
- أداء أعمال الدهان اللمسي وفقاً لمواصفات المشروع والرسومات.
- أداء أعمال التغطية والتنظيف المرتبطة والتخلص من مخلفات الدهان وعلب الدهان.
- ضمان تنفيذ جميع الأعمال الموكلة بأمان وفي الوقت المحدد.
- ضمان اتباع جميع الرسومات والوثائق الفنية مثل مواصفات الدهان وITP ورسومات الدهان.
- التأكد من الحصول على تصريح عمل ساري المفعول (في الأماكن المغلقة) قبل أي نشاط.
- حضور اجتماعات السلامة وصندوق الأدوات اليومية والتعرف على المخاطر المرتبطة بالعمل.
- مراقبة استخدام المواد لضمان اكتشاف النقص المحتمل ومعالجته في أقرب وقت.
- القدرة على إجراء التحضيرات قبل الدهان وفحص العمل النهائي لضمان مطابقته لمعايير الجودة.
- فحص المعدات والأدوات المستخدمة والحفاظ عليها بحالة لا تخل بالسلامة.
- ضمان الامتثال لمسؤوليات الصحة والسلامة والبيئة والأمن (HSES).
الشروط والمتطلبات
- دبلوم تقني أو مؤهل معادل (تدريب مهني في السفع والدهان).
- يفضل الحصول على شهادة مشغل دهان معتمد من NACE/SSPC/FROSIO أو أي منظمة أخرى.
- خبرة لا تقل عن 6 إلى 11 سنة في حوض بناء السفن.
- مهارات تواصل جيدة (شفهية وكتابية) باللغة الإنجليزية.
المهارات المطلوبة
- فهم عمليات تجهيز السطح والدهان وعلامات الدهان.
- معرفة مخاطر الصحة والسلامة ذات الصلة، واستخدام معدات الحماية، ومواد الطلاء، والخلط والتخفيف، وعمر الدهان، ومتطلبات السطح.
- فحص مواد وأدوات ومعدات الدهان.
- الإلمام بالرسومات الهندسية والمصطلحات.
- خبرة في استخدام الأدوات الكهربائية واليدوية.
- القدرة على العمل تحت الضغط وإدارة وتحفيز فريق.
- مهارات تواصل شفهية جيدة باللغة الإنجليزية.

JOB PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE
This job is mainly to perform outdoor touch-up painting with rollers and brushes after surface preparation at P.E and Dock stage of newly build ships. This job also includes masking to avoid contaminations and associated cleaning work. Blasting and painting experience is required. The candidate must work closely together with the production manager, engineers, and foreman to ensure that all assigned projects are executed safely, on time, and within budget in accordance with the contract and International Maritime Industries Management System (IMIMS). The candidate must be able to collaborate with other departments and communicate results and concerns to the production management team. The candidate must be ready to work under pressure and drive a team to completion against aggressive timelines and work scopes and willing to be trained to handle other tasks than blasting as the need arise.

Key Accountabilities
- Ensure proper use of rollers and brushes to apply various kinds of paints on the surface.
- Ensure proper control of paint agitator.
- Perform touch-up painting according to the project specifications/codes and following the drawings.
- Perform associated masking, cleaning work and disposal of waste paint and paint can.
- Ensure all assigned works are executed safely on time.
- Ensure that all technical drawings and documentation, such as painting specification, ITP and painting drawing is followed.
- When engaging in any activity, ensure that you have a valid work permit (confined space).
- Attend safety and daily toolbox meetings and under the risk involved with the job.
- Monitor materials usage to ensure possible shortages are identified and addressed at the earliest possible opportunity
- Ability to perform pre-painting preparations and examine finished work and ensure they meet standards for excellence.
- Inspect the equipment and tools they use while performing their job and maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and Security (HSES) responsibilities.

Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
- Understanding of surface preparation and painting processes, paint marking.
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety hazard, use of protection equipment, coating materials, mixing, and thinning of coatings, coating pot-life, surface requirements.
- Inspecting paint material, equipment, and tools.
- Familiar with engineering drawings and terminology.
- Experience in using electrical or manual tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage/motivate a team
- Good oral communication skills in English.
- At least 6 to 11 years’ experience in the Shipyard.
- Good Communication Skills (oral and written) in the English Language.
