تعلن شركة WSP in the Middle East عن توفر فرصة وظيفية لمفتش مدني (Civil Inspector) في مجال نقل المياه، وذلك في مدينة الرياض، المملكة العربية السعودية.

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • إدارة والإشراف على جميع الأنشطة المدنية في الموقع المتعلقة بمشاريع نقل المياه وشبكات المياه، وضمان الامتثال لمواصفات التصميم والمتطلبات التنظيمية.
  • الإشراف على المشاريع من البداية إلى النهاية، بما يشمل التقدير ومراجعة قابلية البناء وإدارة الإنشاءات.
  • وضع خطط المشاريع وجداولها الزمنية وميزانياتها، وضمان الالتزام بالمواعيد النهائية والقيود المالية.
  • التنسيق مع أصحاب المصلحة (العملاء، المقاولين، المهندسين المعماريين، الجهات التنظيمية) وتقديم تقارير دورية عن تقدم العمل للإدارة العليا.
  • مراقبة وتوجيه قضايا التداخل بين المقاولين وتقديم التحذيرات المبكرة لتجنب إعادة العمل.
  • التواصل مع العملاء لحل الاختناقات في التصميم والإنشاء مع الحفاظ على مراقبة الجودة والسلامة.
  • التحقيق في أي حوادث سلامة أو حوادث وشيكة والإبلاغ عنها.
  • إجراء زيارات ميدانية منتظمة لمراقبة التقدم وجودة العمل والالتزام ببروتوكولات السلامة.
  • معالجة المشكلات المتعلقة بالموقع وتقديم التوجيه الفني والحلول اللازمة.
  • ضمان الامتثال لقوانين البناء واللوائح البيئية ذات الصلة.
  • مراجعة الوثائق المتعلقة بالموقع مثل طرق العمل ورسومات التركيب وإجراءات الاختبار.
  • مراجعة دراسات إيقاف التشغيل ودراسات الجدوى وتقييم المخاطر المرتبطة بها.
  • إجراء تدقيق ربع سنوي للأطراف الثالثة ومقاولي EPC.
  • مراجعة تصاميم المشاريع ومواصفاتها ورسوماتها للتأكد من دقتها وجدواها.
  • تقديم المدخلات خلال مرحلة التصميم لتحسين عمليات الإنشاء واختيار المواد.
  • التعاون مع فرق التصميم لحل أي مشكلات أو تعديلات متعلقة بالتصميم.
  • تنفيذ إجراءات ضمان الجودة ومراقبة الجودة (QA/QC) لضمان مطابقة أعمال الإنشاء للمعايير.
  • إجراء الفحوصات والاختبارات للتحقق من جودة المواد وجودة الصنعة.
  • توثيق أي حالات عدم مطابقة أو انحرافات والعمل على حلها في الوقت المناسب.
  • العمل بشكل وثيق مع المهندسين المعماريين والمهندسين الإنشائيين وغيرهم من المختصين لتنسيق الجوانب متعددة التخصصات.
  • تعزيز بيئة عمل تعاونية وإيجابية تشجع التواصل الفعال والعمل الجماعي.
  • تقديم الإرشاد والدعم للمهندسين المبتدئين وموظفي الموقع حسب الحاجة.

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة المدنية أو مجال ذي صلة (يفضل درجة الماجستير).
  • خبرة لا تقل عن 5-10 سنوات في الإشراف على المواقع، مع التركيز على مشاريع خطوط أنابيب المياه أو محطات معالجة مياه الصرف الصحي (IWTP).
  • رخصة مهندس محترف (PE) أو أهلية للحصول على الترخيص.
  • خبرة مثبتة في الهندسة المدنية مع التركيز على إدارة المواقع والإنشاءات.
  • معرفة قوية بأساليب الإنشاء والمواد والتقنيات.

المهارات المطلوبة

  • مهارات ممتازة في التواصل والتعامل مع الآخرين والقيادة.
  • القدرة على العمل بفعالية في بيئة سريعة الخطى وديناميكية.
  • الالتزام بالسلامة والجودة والرعاية البيئية.
  • إتقان استخدام برامج إدارة المشاريع و AutoCAD أو أدوات التصميم المماثلة.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Inspector, you will manage and oversee all civil engineering activities on-site related to Water transmission and water network projects. Ensuring compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements is a key responsibility.

Responsibilities

Project Management:

  • Manage and oversee civil activities and interfacing from inception to completion.
  • Ensuring compliance with contract requirements, design specifications,
  • applicable codes and regulatory requirements to ascertain quality and safety.
  • Hands-on in Estimation, Constructability Review, Construction Management.
  • Be well versed with the applicable codes, local regulations and industry standards to discharge duties.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure adherence to
  • timelines and budgetary constraints.
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, architects, and regulatory agencies.
  • Regularly report on project progress to senior management.


Site Supervision:

  • Closely monitor, guide and regulate the interfacing issues between contractors and providing heads up to avoid re-work.
  • Liaising with clients for resolving Contraction Design & other bottlenecks while maintaining and controlling all quality & safety functions
  • Investigate and report any safety incidents or near misses.
  • Conducting regular inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety standards.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to optimize project outcomes and mitigate risks.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality of work, and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Address any site-related issues promptly, providing technical guidance and solutions as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and environmental standards.


Design and Planning:

  • Review of site related documentations like method statements, installation drawings, site testing procedures etc.
  • Review of decommissioning study, feasibility study and associated risk assessment.
  • Conducting audit for 3rd party & EPC Contractor on quarterly basis.
  • Review project designs, specifications, and drawings to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
  • Provide input during the design phase to optimize construction processes and materials selection.
  • Collaborate with design teams to resolve any design-related issues or modifications.


Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC):

  • Implement QA/QC procedures to ensure construction work meets established standards and specifications.
  • Conduct inspections and tests to verify the quality of materials and workmanship.
  • Document and report any non-conformities or deviations, and work towards timely resolution.


Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with architects, structural engineers, and other professionals to coordinate interdisciplinary aspects of projects.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, encouraging effective communication and teamwork.
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior engineers and site staff as needed.


Qualifications

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental stewardship.
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of site supervision experience, with a focus on Water pipeline or IWTP projects.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Proven experience in civil engineering, with a focus on site management and construction.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
  • Proficiency in project management software and AutoCAD or similar design tools.
