Role Description The Emergency Doctor Consultant will provide expert clinical assessment and management of patients presenting to the emergency department, including triage, stabilization, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and complex conditions. Responsibilities include supervising junior medical staff, coordinating with nursing and allied health teams, and ensuring adherence to clinical guidelines and safety standards. The role involves participating in on-call coverage, reviewing diagnostic tests, documenting care accurately, and communicating clearly with patients and families about treatment plans and follow-up. The Emergency Doctor Consultant will also contribute to quality improvement, clinical audits, and continuing education within the department. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jeddah.
Qualifications

• Advanced clinical expertise in emergency medicine, including acute resuscitation, trauma care, and management of medical and surgical emergencies.
• Proven ability to supervise and mentor junior physicians, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong diagnostic and decision-making skills, with proficiency in interpreting laboratory tests, imaging, and other investigations.
• Excellent communication skills for clear, compassionate interaction with patients, families, and colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice, clinical governance, and participation in quality and safety initiatives.
• Relevant medical degree, specialty certification in emergency medicine (or equivalent), and eligibility for licensure according to local regulations.
• Willingness to work full-time on-site in Jeddah, with flexibility for shift and on-call schedules.
• Experience in teaching, research, or contribution to clinical protocols is an advantage.
