Role Description The Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, responsible for overseeing daily ready-mix production, dispatch, and delivery activities. This role plans and manages batching operations, coordinates with logistics to ensure on-time deliveries, and monitors inventory levels for raw materials such as cement, aggregates, and admixtures. The Operations Manager supervises plant and field teams, sets clear performance expectations, and ensures adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The role also involves tracking key operational metrics, optimizing processes, resolving operational issues, and communicating with sales and customer service teams to support client needs. The Operations Manager contributes to budgeting, cost control, and resource planning to maintain efficient, cost-effective operations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in operations management, preferably within ready-mix concrete, construction materials, or industrial manufacturing.
• Strong skills in production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to manage plant and fleet utilization effectively.
• Knowledge of quality control standards, safety regulations, and environmental compliance relevant to concrete production and construction materials.
• Proficiency in using operational software and basic computer tools (e.g., MS Office) for reporting, data analysis, and documentation.
• Effective leadership and team management abilities, including coaching, performance management, and conflict resolution.
• Solid communication and collaboration skills to work with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers in a multicultural environment.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills, with attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, operations management, or a related field; relevant professional certifications in operations or safety are an advantage.
• Previous experience working in Saudi Arabia or the GCC region and familiarity with local industry practices is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Riyadh and adapt to changing operational demands, including occasional extended hours when needed.
