Role Description The Electrical Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Dammam, responsible for supporting electrical design, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities across industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects. This role involves preparing and reviewing electrical designs and drawings, performing load calculations, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client specifications. The Electrical Engineer collaborates with project managers, site supervisors, and other engineers to plan and execute electrical works, oversee power distribution installations, and troubleshoot technical issues. Daily responsibilities include site inspections, coordination with suppliers and contractors, documenting test results, and contributing to technical reports and project handover documentation. The role also supports continuous improvements in safety, quality, and efficiency across MGT’s electrical contracting and technical solutions portfolio.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering and Electricity, with the ability to apply core principles to industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in Electrical Design, including preparing and reviewing drawings, load calculations, and technical specifications.
• Hands-on experience with Power Distribution and Power Systems, covering installation, testing, commissioning, and fault diagnosis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Familiarity with relevant international and local electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, single-line diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in technical work.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to work on-site in Dammam and visit project locations as needed; prior experience in contracting or construction environments is an advantage.
• Professional certifications in electrical safety, testing, or commissioning, and experience in Saudi Arabia’s industrial or infrastructure sectors are beneficial.
